I originally posted this in politics but quickly realized it has nothing to do with goverment. I was just looking at shit from the 1950's and it got me thinking about how loose we've gotten over the last 50 years. Our diets have gone to shit, we know far more about health yet are way worst off, we fuck like rabbits but can't produce 2.1 kids each. We lost of sense of values tradition and religon. We spent all day playing video games instead of playing real sports, and were focues on drug consumption be it either steriods weed, booze etc.
Keep in mind this has nothing to with politics. I mean in terms of physical health, and time management.
I mean how much more time would you have for the gym or eating better if you had no computer, and didn't go out drinking on the weekends. Not to mention how better your pocket book would be.
It seems to me the last 45 years is all about an obession with freedom doing whatever we want whenever we want, it seems like were in need of alot of restriction in lifestyle on a cultural level.

FYI I met a girl hiking. She's smart got a nice ass, and keep up on a hike, way better than the girls you'll find on a friday night at some bar. Chain smoking abortion wrecked, chicks that can't even walk a flight of stairs. Plus I didn't have to stay up all night and was able to make it to the gym the night before.

Overall yes, for me personally, no.

The question is if you had to choose between hanging out with people that are fast food, credit card, iphone addicts, that are unable to run a flight of stairs due to smoking. Or would you rather spend your weekends with fit people that don't stay up all night eat right, and play real sports instead of video's games and binge drinking.

As you can see with the addition of exhibits C through E this question is a no contest.

we know far more about health yet are way worst off
Not the direction you want the thread to take, but it's called the American Paradox. A health and physique obsessed culture that keeps getting fatter.

Good thread topic
Sounds like an ideal girl!
Yeah, I never was into drug use or drinking, but did go to a few strip clubs and do my best to hook up for casual sex.
I am no happy to be back with 3rd ex wife. We have been back together for 3 yrs since our divorce , but not REmarried ( long story, won't bore ya). I teach, workout, go hiking with my dogs and attend alot of hockey and baseball games now. I also enjoy traveling with my "wife" and going to resorts and on cruises when we can afford it a few times each yr.
I don't drink, smoke, gamble or screw around on her. I don't belong to any church or religeon

It's more appearance based than anything, with no substance. More than that it's the need to have expensive clothes that you can't afford that causes the problem.

As soon as the Mexican's really start to take over America in terms of numbers, it will be like we went back into the 40's and 50's for real.
