anyone else ever had this?
i have had a herniated disc for 17 years but the pain has been worse for quite a while
so i went to a specialist...had an MRI and they said i also have a stress fracture
supposed to wear this piece of shit back brace for 3 months
don't even know how i fractured it, or when....i figure it was from squats cause a while
back i felt a pop at the bottom of back squat
pullups, pushups, dips, lunges, leg ext, leg curls for me for a while...actually got the best
back workout in a long time doing only pullups

Tell him to pump gentler next time :D

that's the other thing....it is hard to fuck and not make my back hurt like hell....did it the other
night and was being smart for a couple minutes and then said fuck it and started fucking like
normal...regretted it afterwards, well after the afterwards ;D

i am growing very tiresome of my back and hip pain, it only hurts when i get up from laying down, or when im alseep, i cannot squat half the weight i used to be able to, which i dont care about, but its the pain, and unstable feeling i have in thehips and lower back. i would like some pills or injection to just get rid of the fucking pain.

i started getting a sharp hot pain in my right hip joint...not sure why? i wonder if it had to do with my disc or fracture?
it lasted about 6 weeks and then faded away....fucking feel like i am falling apart lately

Back injuries suck badly. Luckily mine was a muscular one, not a disc or vertebral problem. Good luck with it man.
-
if you have back injuries you're a pussy who never learned how to lift or you went too heavy to try to impress. I'm 6'5 and I've never had back problems. One more positive for being tall......all you short wobbly midget fucks end up with bad backs after years of heavy lifting.

yes, i am sure that is the case for every back injury ::)
my herniated disc happened at work when i was 17...a fucking kid...i was setting something that was heavy down with bad
form and pop...nobody was around, so no, i was not trying to impress anyone, just a bad mistake that i have paid for
i am guessing the fracture came from weak core strenght topped with too much weight pushing down....but that is a guess
i lift at home, so once again, i am not trying to impress anyone you fucking tool bag
i guarantee you would not think i was a pussy if you felt this pain for the last 17 years without getting surgery, that is not pussy
even with these injuries, i keep to my diet and workout...i suppose i could just give up and become a fat pig that cruises
around on a fucking scooter while raising everyone's medical costs ::)

Also, EVERY taller lifter I know has developed back problems over the years.....perhaps McAnus is not handling enough weight for it to matter or he's just a genetic freak?

17 is a kid? ::) No you're not a pussy for dealing with that type of pain for 17 years.....you're a moron. You sound like you're just uncoordinated. Should have left the heavy lifting to the men and picked up something like knitting. ;D
-
I have never had any back problems but like 3 months ago something happened with my neck doing dumbell shoulder presses. wtf? it has been bothering me ever since. probably some disc compressed. >:(

hahaha oh boy! i am a moron for not choosing to go under the knife and possibly have more problems?
your a genius
17 is just a kid you dumbfuck....i think back to how little i knew at 17 compared to now, not just lifting but everything, and
it makes 17 seem even more of a kid
i was doing my job as i was told, but made a mistake
i am sure you have never fucked up in life, no mistakes....some mistakes just come with larger consequences, i am sure your
parents can relate

;D You're easy to wind up!

Worst thing about that girdle is not having nylons to match.
<crickets>
Seriously, though, you might have postural issues that make you more likely to have a lumbar stress fracture.
I found that wearing my girdle at night was key to my recovery, but follow your Dr's advice.
Heal up!

;D You're easy to wind up!
hence my getbig name ;D

Hope you recover.
I had mild lower back pain after squatting - good mornings took care of this.

I actually broke my L-5 into two pieces, which led to me having a surgery and fusion of the L-4/ 5 together....cant say I have any regrets. It was a weak link for many years, as I would get to a certain weight squatting and inevitably, herniate it....went the chiropractic route for a while, pop it back in place, etc....
Oddly enough, it wasnt lifting, but playing baseball that did me in....big swing, felt it go out again. Next morning could barely get up....started to get numbness down the leg, as the broken part of the disc was lodged into th nerve channel...
This was in 1998...two years BEFORE I won the USA. Lifting SMARTLY afterwards was/ is the key...only a few things you need to stay away from.
Get the surgery if its a possibility.

broken in half sounds pretty traumatic chick... how did you manage to do such a thing in the first place?
-
Chick, what do you recommend staying away from? Thanks in advance.

Smartly is not a word. You could have said lifting smart or lifting intelligently afterwards but not smartly. Bad grammar. :)

the thought of fusing them is an option i am thinking about...being my L5, i shouldnt lose much mobility if any while making
it stronger
i think the fracture probably came from squats and/or barbell rows...both exercises have caused severe pain at times...i said before
that i now have to cut back to pullups etc for a while, my last back workout was all pullups and for rows i set a barbell on my cage
and elevated my feet and just did rows with my body parallel to the floor....the most sore my lats/traps have been for a long time
