I've had the following dream several times in the past decade

I'm being chased in some type of nightmare world, an unidentified man/monster is hunting me

My hearts beating out of my chest, almost paralyzed with fear, but managing to avoid capture.

Eventually "it" catches up with me and I wake up. Thankfully just a dream.

Dreams are symbolic so that the left brain “gets it“

ive drempt of being tortured on a stage in medieval times in the town square, then being drawn and quartred

ive drempt of my car going outta control and falling off a cliff...it flipped over and over and right before i fall in the water i wake up

ive drempt of a snake in my bedroom and insects on my ceiling above my bed

ive drempt of taking a school bus w/ a coworker through a damaged part of town-burned buildings, poverty etc...and this fat man on side of the road made the bus driver stop and open the doors, and then he pointed a gun at me

ive drempt of walking in the football field at my old high school to take a test and this rabid donkey jumped outta nowhere and bit my neck

ive drempt of sleeping on my sofa and this big fat man walked by my window and then suddenly jumped out at me

ive drempt of being in a haunted house w/ others on a game show and we had to survive the night and not get killed by the texas chain saw massacre killer

There are some great books out there on Lucid dreaming.

They essentially train the reader on how to not only completely recall what they dream about, but to also control their dreams.

Imaging falling into deep sleep, beginning to dream and while dreaming being fully capable of realizing that you ARE dreaming and then taking advantage of your dream state by doing things like flying, speaking to past loved ones, being intimate with women/men you can literally only dream of and even have super powers etc..

The possibilities are truly endless and a good way to come to term with your innermost fears and desires.

If you folks ever have the time for some light reading, try picking up some literature on Lucid dreaming, you'll appreciate it.

why dont you give us more informations on how to lucid dream, i dont really have time for full books but can read a few pages only. Special tactics like this should be condensed and easy to copy then apply

I've had halfway lucid dreams before, where I know I'm sleeping and know everything in the dream is a dream, its crazy shit..

Johnny, try waking yourself up during the deepest sleep, then sleeping again, then waking yourself up and sleeping right away again... one time I did this and I swear to the imaginary man in the sky, I thought I was gonna die or something, after a few hours I was so confused I didn't know what was real or not, I really wanted to wake up but couldn't after a while I was able to get out of the dream but I woke up all disillusioned and didn't know what the fuck I happened, thought I was in a coma or something.. I immediately called up a friend to make sure I was awake, it was some of the weirdest shit I've ever experienced..
hahaha i thought about doing something like that, but that sounds like it would just make for a shitty night. but yes with that tactic i would remember more dreams that way.

but as one more rep is saying , i would like more information on how to have control in lucid dream, is that like meditation (wich i suck at and is boring , sure i can visual lize things but its not as real as a dream

I am obviously not going to interpret dreams. I charge money for that. I just posted what the are.

To recall dreams better, put yourself in brown when you become conscious. Also, when you wake up, staying still for 90 secs helps. When you move your head's position it buries the dream in your subconscious.

There's not much tricks you can learn. One thing is to remember as much dreams as you can (dream journal to write them down), then when you are awake somehow convince yourself that you are going to see dreams and that you will be lucid in them, and try to think something that will notice you inside your dream that it is really a dream. I once saw a dream where I was shot in the leg, and I didn't bleed much, so I thought hmmm, this seems like a dream.  ;D

The two occasions I have had lucid dreams they were pure accidents, and kinda "blurry".

I can only testify to the magnificence and importance of lucid dreams. Every time I have one I am so overwhelmed by "how real" they are.
Golden way of interpreting your dreams is consciously experiencing them. Fuck Freudian dream analysis and related horse shit.

To keep it bodybuilding related - the impact bb can have on your dreams:
Since I bodybuild, I can only remember one of those typical fearful dreams, in which you are being chased. At some point I actually stopped running, asking myself, why I am running at all. I turned around and beat the shit out of this fucker who chased me. True story.
When gaining lucidity, there are obviously more intelligent ways to deal with such dream figures...

sevastase, do you know why we dream more at some places than others?
I almost never dream when I sleep at my home, but when im at my gf home, I dream all the time! and its all awesome dreams! I dreamed about my friend who died this summer, all my friends and I were with him having a good time.. damn that was nice.  I also dream and some funny ass shit happens in these dreams because I wake up laughing! I woke up 4 times laughing, that make me feel so happy and full of energy to start my day, gets me so motivated. she also say that even when im asleep she see me with a big smile on my face lol.
But these things ONLY happens when im sleeping at her place, and EVERY time. Why?  could it be her giving me positive energy ?

You do not dream more. You REMEMBER more  ;)

Dreams are symbolic and do not mean what they seem. You remember these more, cause IMO, your place triggers familiar stuff that you block. People dream A LOT more than they think. On average 5 times a night.

Maybe I should do someone's dream so people would get an idea about this stuff.

Let's post some dreams and I'll pick one and do it. Then the person can see if it releates to what is going on in their life.

i see what you are saying sev and i agree

i had a dream last night  with my cousin whom i hadnt seein in a while i remember eating tons of good food and talking to hoes, he seemed to tire out trying to keep up with me on the beach as rentlessesly searched for hoes. i tried to convince my stubborn cousing to eat more like me..

I've had this recurring dream for years now, which is very pleasant. It happens in different locations, but often in a HUGE grassy field that stretches endlessly or a long, gradual stairway that stretches for miles around a mountain. I levitate about a foot or so above the ground and glide - I can control the speed and the other people are still walking normally. There is no one in the field, but there are lots of people climbing the stairway in the mountain and I just glide past them, be it going uphill or downhill. Sort of like the skateboard stuff in 'Back to the Future II' sans the skateboard 8)

Get that dream once or twice a week like clockwork. Also have heaps of flying dreams, which are always awesome.

Kinda like Keith and 1983?  8)

chair = stability/grounding
flying high = reaching higher levels of understanding
spaceship = higher awareness
shoes = protection in the future

While you reach higher levels of understanding, you become more aware. However, this makes you feel less grounded, and you feel it makes you more vulnerable in the future.

i almost died last night from a heart attack from eating a whole boston cream pie and a pizza, i went into a panic mode my chest was so full and felt like i wasnt getting in enough oxygen . so i did a self induced hypothermia and stood in the cold with my shirt off but with a wet shirt on my back. i obviously had a heart attack like fever because i wasnt even cold outside. but ive heard that induced hypothermia can save one of a heart attack. i know ill be dead soon but would like your imput anyway, thanks for being a good friend in this life.

Had the freakiest dream ever last night!

I dreamed a female surgeon performed open heart surgery on me in a hospital. There were three parts or valves replaced, I woke up after the surgery but the she had left out the last part, it was still laying on a metal trey, said she could put it in later.  We took a walk and I beg her to put the 3rd part into my heart as well before it was going bad where it was laying on a metal trey, then I thanked her for saving me or something like that, she said "finally you are connecting with me" and she agreed on performing the last part of the surgery.

It was pretty gruesome. I woke up a few times thinking I would die not knowing that I was dreaming !

Freakiest dream I had for a while. No idea where it came from. but I think my bike ride cardio last night brought it on, or something.

thanks for being a good friend in this life.

you move into a different state of consciousness, while the body disintegrates. I personally recommend cremation, as it severs ties with this physical reality frequency wise, and the person can move on.

Even during violent deaths, the soul personality starts extracting itself gradually from this plane long before. You do not “feel“ anything.

Stop saying that “I won't have long“. Put a big brown X over this thought and send it up to Oversoul

Freakiest dream I had for a while. No idea where it came from. but I think my bike ride cardio last night brought it on, or something.

You are correcting mind-patterns related to your heart chakra (emotions, past). There is a left brain aspect in your physical life that was teaching you a lesson you are finally starting “to get“.

or when your "running" while someone chasing you or something like that.... but he runs normal while youre running in slow motion. lol
during REM sleep, when we have our dreams, our brain is inhibiting all motor activity.. paralysing us... our brain is aware of this (its doing it), and this is possibly the explanation why a lot of people experience dreams where their bodies are extremely hard to move (running in slow motion).

as for all this stuff sevastase is saying... sounds cool.. but idk.  dreams occur during a stage of sleep, when our brains become extremely active. most experts believe that sleep is used for consolidating memory and energy conservation. the reason for dreams is unknown, but its thought that it is our unconsciouse attempts to make sense of all the random neural firing that is going on during that REM stage fo sleep. we use our recent memories and thoughts to try and create an experience that matches all the brain activity. (we normally only experience such brain activity when we are experiencing something engaging in a conscious state.
