Title: Do you have ever have inexplicable nights when you just can't fall asleep?
Post by: Deicide on November 03, 2010, 09:18:03 AM
I had one last night; I mean there was no clear reason why I couldn't nod off but I couldn't no matter what I did. I wonder if others sometimes have those nights where you are left with no explanation as to why afterwards. Every happen to you?

Fuck man that's strange I can't say that's ever happened to me. I got a stranger wierder issue, I woke up the other day about 2 hours before my alarm clock went off, I wasn't even tired. Man maybe we should goto the same doc or something.

P.S. I also went to sleep the other day around 5.30(sunset) really wierd me thinks it might be aliens talking to us or something

Sometimes I wake up about 2-3 minutes before my alarm clock goes off. That only happens when I got it down to a routine though.

Worried about something?  Done something unethical lately?  Conviction?  Jesus knocking at your heart's door, but you refuse to answer the door?    ;D

Rising early and working all day generally helps.

Kind of. Just tons of work to do. I am doing 2 languages at once for my MSc, which means double the workload...eh, who knows?

A few weeks back I would have laughed at this "alien visit' shit, but recently I've had a change of mind and think that there may be something to it.

Can't go into full details just yet but ... how many of you GetBiggers have experienced a drastic need to wake up while deep asleep and find yourself tossing and turning in an effort to get out of a dream or a deep sleep mode?

I fought it and did wake up and threw a book at something hard to explain.

That's happened a couple of times recently and some of the neighbors have asked me about various flashing lights and I had no idea what they were talking about.

If I get abducted I'll eventually return and tell ya all about it. And I keep a camera under the pillow just in case. Those guys are gonna get their pictures took.

Have you tried Ambien (Zolpidem)?

Yeah, I usually take meds. Thing is, they didn't work last night, no explanation. Psychological shit no doubt.

I'm very relaxed by the time comes every night. You might be sleeping to long and it carries over?

Every once in a while it happens to me. Just recently I've noticed it seems to always coincide when there is a low pressure system moving in. I honestly think the weather has something to do with it.
