Title: Seperation of Church and State............

BUT yet................this past week, the ELECTIONS were held.............and do you want to know where MANY of the VOTING POLLS were held???..........at CHURCHS. My parents went to go VOTE at a CHURCH thats about 2 min from me. " SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE" MY ASS.

I voted in a church.  No one tried to preach to me though.  I think it was just convenient for them to use the building.

Most churches are large open buildings, pretty convenient for voting...I don't see the problem, it's just a building.

I think it was just convenient for them to use the building.

That's the only reason they're used for voting. Same as firehouses

I voted in a church, four years ago at midterms. Heck, in some places, church buses are used to take people to the polls (usually in black communities and usually for Democrats).

This ain't nothing new. Heck, how many times have I mentioned the typical "Praise the Lord and vote for me" routine that politicians do on a regular basis?

Of course, you won't find the ACLU barking about it (at least, not when it's liberal politicians going to black churches, where "Rev." virtually endorses the politican from the pulpit).
