Im too big of a Rampge fan to bet againast him although I couldn't hand pick a worse fight for him stylistically. I think a Rampage v Rashad 2 is inevitable. Im also not redy to give up on BJ yet. Outside of that I have no intrest in the card except satorolopus--- he is going to be a big star in the UFC one day.

Alright. How many drinks did you consume prior to utilizing the bold feature?

George, fix your pics.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (30-8; #4 Light Heavyweight)*-
B.J. Penn (15-7-1; #5 Lightweight
Gerald Harris (17-2)
Tim Boetsch (12-3)
George Sotiropoulos (13-2)[/b]
This is going to be a blood bath. You should win this card easily. The only pick I have confidence in is Sotiropoulos.

Wow, one of the shittiest cards ever...
-
I can't believe Harris hasn't fainted, tapped, or been TKO'd going into the third. Gutsy performance, but hard to watch.
-
WOW--- Rampage comes out to the theme from Pride lololololol
I hope he doesn't embarass himself-- He looks focused, is in shape, did his camp in the USA; Lets see how it goes
-
Rampage wins--- thats a clean sweep for me biotch
-
I thought Machida had it, i think Rampage did too!
-
The thing is, Machida clearly won round 3-- but I had Rampage winning rounds 1 and 2 by a girl hair.
If its a 10 point must system, then Rampage has to win. But it didnt feel like a win-- I think they are going to have an immediate rematch anyway.
-
funny thing about this fight...as soon as it began..I was thinking if machida keeps staying out of harms way like he did ....he'd lose.
I guess judges felt that way. It's almost like he was too patient. this aint a 5 rounder man. You gotta go get it ( and risk getting ko'd)
-
That was a BS decision. I think Machida got robbed.
Happy for BJ :-)

clean sweep? WhT about Harris and boetch big mouth??
-
who gives a shit about those two garbage card fights?
I won both main events and the first fight on the card. Jones and Bader early next year got announced! Remtach?
-
And Machida didn't get robbed. It was either going to be a draw or a Rampage win-- He won the first two rounds-- and unless round 3 was a 10-8 decisive beatdown, you have to give Rampage the decision. I think they both scored one takedown- Rampage was 100x times more agressive and despite having a full mount in round 3, Rampage stood up and charged forward again. The rematch will be exciting to watch. First I want to see him fight Rashad again and knock him the fuck out to avenge their first fight where he showed up in camp 60lbs overweight.
-
No doubt
-
Good picks though. Never saw the Penn ko coming

Everybody with a brain knows Machida got robbed

Why are you commenting on a subject you obviously know nothing about? Stick to commentary on gay speed dating.

They need to make all main events 5 round fights.
Just my 2 cents.

Whatever you say Elastic man.

Honest to god I walked to my fridge, walked back and BJ was already running out of the octagon like a lunatic. I thought he would win, but a 20 second knock out? I was shocked.

I agree. I can't count how many times I felt gypped for ordering a fight where it ended in 3 rounds with a 29-28 or split decision result and it was blatantly obvious that with 1 or 2 more rounds there would have been a totally different outcome. Last night is the perfect example. I think Machida probably would have subbed or tko'd Rampage if he had another round. Same goes for Rashad Rampage- Rashad - Silva, and at least a dozen other fights I can think of.
At the same time though, having 5 round main events would lead to guys conserving energy a lot more and would likely produce more boring, lay and pray, tic tac and run away pillow fights so they could win on points.
