good post :)
thanks... Kind of shows ya what big corporations and bankers are willing to do to keep information off the TV and only information they approve of on TV. And mythbusters usually debunks stuff like this which would have been in their favor. They know that the concerns are real and mythbusters wouldn't have been able to debunk all of them so they opted to shut them up instead...

So these companies want to keep dealing with fraud and theft? I don't understand.

I don't understand either. Perhaps they know that this will always be hackable. According to hackers, everything is hackable and they have proved time and time again it's true. Maybe they just like the idea of tracking everything and everyone more than the problems they feel it would cause. I dunno... There's a huge industry blossoming around protecting peoples identities and around total information collection.

Funny I just found out about hotel room keys, you know the credit card type. I guess all your check in info along with you credit card info you used to pay for the room and incidentals can be lifted off them. So I keep mine now and destroy them when I travel.

Wrong. This is incorrect. That information is not on the card, and never has been.

Evidently it's a urban myth as I just did some research on it. My bad lol.
