platz was quite a leg trainer.....the guys at golds said he was a sight to behold while getting ready for the 81 olympia.

i m wondering for a long time how everyone talks about yates or menzer s intensity
i ve trained with platz post prime and he still was the most intense bodybuilder ever
almost all his exercises were like the shown calv raises
momentum, forced reps, negativ, isometric, singles, sets of hundreds of reps
including joint breaking (for everyone else) bouncing squats, benchpress, working all rowing exercises like mad
usually he needed two spotter, because one would "spot to failure" before tom was going to finish the set with 10-100 additional forced reps with so called suicide technique
unbeliveable that his biceps tear was his single major injurie
as he said competitive bodybuilding is for the kinde of human beeings who want to discover unknown territory
going to places where no one ever was, no matter training itensity drugs diet, diuretics....
