"As the TSA agent was frisking plaintiff, the agent pulled the plaintiff's blouse completely down, exposing plaintiffs' breasts to everyone in the area," the lawsuit said. "As would be expected, plaintiff was extremely embarrassed and humiliated."
The suit said the woman filed an administrative claim against the TSA, but the agency never responded, sparking the lawsuit.
The suit also claims that other TSA employees continued to joke and laugh about the incident for an extended period of time. The woman was distraught over the incident and left the screening area so an acquaintance could console her, the suit said.
When the woman re-entered the boarding area, employees once again began joking about the matter, the suit said.
"One male TSA employee expressed to the plaintiff that he wished he would have been there when she came through the first time and that 'he would just have to watch the video,'" the suit said.

Hell, even GOP gigolos like Sean Hannity are saying that the TSA has gone too far.
-
Is the TSA like our very own SS or something?
???
-
Disgustng. How a person does not assault one of these goons is beyond me.
-
in the end, the TSA guy still has a shitty job working at an airport.
Seriously, this is a tricky issue. You have immature d-bags like this - but public opinion actually supports this, right?
I don't fly. But if I did, I might be okay with anomalies like this - because it means no underwear bombs are getting on that plane. It's a tough tradeoff. It does make the flight safer, despite violations of rights. Messed up situation.

the scanners won't even pick up plastic explosives. One video shows a trained operator from America scanning a guy on a german show. He missed all the bomb components he was packing. TSA has never once caught a terrorist. Not once... lol, who are you trying to kid? safer lol...
tsa workers were flipping burgers before this job, now they're screaming at passengers "i have power, i have power" and having a good time laughing it up pissing people off.
there's nothing tricky about it 240. you don't save America or keep us safe by violating the constitution. you lead America into worse danger, a tyrannical police state.
you face more danger everytime you drive than you ever will from terrorists... why not run out and demand that form of transportation be stopped?
-
oh, I didn't know they let bombs get thru. in that case, what's the point of them? I'm not trying to claim to be an expert on this - I don't like to fly.
I WOULD probably support a highly violating scanner - if it works. The same way I would support airlines that profile, strip search, etc. Why? Cause it's not local street cops doing it. It's a completely optional and elective thing, involving life and death.
Sheeit, I would fly that israeli airline EVERY SINGLE TIME if it was an option. Body cavity searches for everyone. Whip out the ding-dongs and titties. Fly everyone naked! I don't see it as 'violation of rights' cause it's completely coluntary. Your ass can drive or take a boat or train, if you don't like it.
it's life or death, and there are crazy people out there. Strip, profile, whatever. If you don't like the policy, you don't have to get on a plane.
-
if they did that to your wife or mother would you still be ok with it and say to her "relax the just did there job"?
-
when did you become such a prison planet constitution hating total control type 240? You've sure changed over the years... Tell me, are you as willing to bend the 2nd Amendment as you are the 4th? After all the second could easily become part of the issue of being safe... that's how they've taken guns in other countries... Saftey for the people right.... Isn't that why you're so willing to scrap the 4th, in the name of saftey?...
baaa....

Hell, even GOP gigolos like Sean Hannity are saying that the TSA has gone too far.
Hannity's been saying this for months now. Now, there are rumors that Napolitano is considering some form of exemption for Muslim women.
Of course, the left is more concerned about offending Muslims; so, I guess exposing an American woman's boobs, all for the sake of sparing their feelings is just ducky.

California prosecutors say they’ll charge TSA agents if pat-downs are inappropriate
McClatchy Newspapers ^ | 11/181/10 | Mike Rosenberg
As nearly 2 million holiday travellers pack Bay Area airports starting Friday, local prosecutors have a warning for overzealous security agents performing the new federal pat-down: touch passengers the wrong way, and we’ll throw you in jail.
Although authorities in San Mateo and Santa Clara counties said they have not received any criminal complaints since the pat-downs began this month, the searches can involve touching of the genital and breast areas, which critics say is akin to sexual assault.
The Transportation Security Administration says the pat-downs are rare and most commonly used when travellers opt not to travel through the full-body X-ray scanners, which reveal what is underneath passengers’ clothes and are used at all three Bay Area airports. Passengers who refuse both options would not be allowed to travel and the TSA could even fine them up to $11,000 if they delay other passengers.

There's no real evidence supporting these things actually being more effective at catching contraband or explosives. Add the risk of possible skin cancer down the road, the obvious invasion of privacy and you've got a whole lot of nothing but government intrusiveness into our lives, for what? Zilch.
http://www.aclu.org/blog/technology-and-liberty/homeland-security-wants-see-you-naked
Yesterday, in a guest opinion column for USA Today, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano made a plea to the American public to cooperate with the Transportation Security Agency's (TSA) efforts to virtually strip-search air travelers this holiday season. In her piece, she repeated misleading and inaccurate claims about the effectiveness of strip-search machines — a.k.a. advanced imaging technology (AIT) machines — and what the government is doing to make sure that the naked pictures they are taking of you remain private.
AIT machines are safe, efficient, and protect passenger privacy… AIT screenings have illustrated their security value time and again… The imaging technology that we use cannot store, export, print or transmit images.
The truth behind this bit of spin is that the jury is still out on the effectiveness of these machines or whether they justify the invasion of privacy involved. The Government Accountability office said earlier this year "it is unclear whether the AIT or other technologies would have been able to detect the weapon Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab [the attempted 2009 Christmas day bomber] used in his attempted attack. "Experts have said explosives can be hidden by being molded against the human body, or in folds of skin. British newspapers have reported that government testing in the U.K. found that the technology comes up short in detecting plastic, chemicals and liquids.
The more startling inaccuracy is the oft-repeated claim that these machines cannot store or transmit the revealing images of travelers that they create. According to published reports, this is simply untrue. By filing Freedom of Information Act requests, privacy advocates discovered that the TSA actually requires that all body scanners it purchases be able to store and send images when in "test mode." The U.S. Marshals Service recently made news when it admitted that it had surreptitiously retained more than 35,000 images made from a similar scanning device in a Florida courthouse. What's to stop the TSA — or an unscrupulous TSA employee — from doing the same with the naked images they take of you? There is no law or regulation that governs how body scanners are used — just TSA policy which can be changed at any time.
Meanwhile, complaints about the TSA's enhanced security procedures have been pouring in from around the country. A man in San Diego reports being threatened with a lawsuit and $10,000 fine for refusing to submit to either a strip-search scan or an aggressive groping of his "junk" — even though he had decided to forgo the trip and was leaving the airport. A woman from New Hampshire asked to opt-out of a body scan at the Miami airport, and said TSA agents reacted by handcuffing her to a chair, ripping up her ticket, and calling Miami police to escort her from the airport. And thousands of you have read our previous post about men who have opted out of the scan and subsequently encountered "the Resistance."
With the holiday travel season fast approaching, we want you be prepared when you get to the airport and have to make a choice between a virtual strip-search and a really aggressive groping. Visit our info page to find out more about TSA travel abuses, and TAKE ACTION by telling Congress you want them to act.

What about babies or toddlers? I have to fly in like 6 weeks or so and my little girl is 18 months old. I don't want her going in a radiation chamber, and I really don't want some TSA agent even touching her. The airport I will be flying out of now uses these machines. Does anyone have any ideas? I would lose it on one of these jack ass TSA people if they touched my kid the wrong way.

they need a robot to do the searches.
it would use a fleshlight to check for explosives.
a happy ending BEFORE the flight would rock.

Solution: Don't change your daughters diapers for hours before she encounters TSA, and hope the TSA agent has a good sense of smell. That'll keep his or her fingers out of your daughter's diaper.

That could NEVER happen in America. ::)
I can understand when Bush did it. He was keeping us safe and would never abuse power.
This other fellah, the Kenyan? I think he's up to something. Therefore I oppose the patdowns and see them as the end of america.

but it's amusing to hear people defend what bush did because "We have nothing to hide!"
Even more amusing will be the line of getbiggers who have to 'jump ship' from team obama/carney over to savage, cain, ron paul, etc, on this assassination thing.
