"There are violations of New Jersey law taking place."

"When you buy an airline ticket you do not give up your Constitutional rights."

probably the same place where it says driving is a right lol....  If people don't like it, they can always just stay at home and have the groceries delivered.  Not get a job or anything else.  These things are already moving out on the roads.  Some day checkpoints will be standard and it will be TSA there doing it.  They're moving into other government buildings and soon you'll be entering security checkpoints to get your plates lol...

I think it's valid to bitch when people feel something is wrong.  It's nothing legislation can't fix as has happened before.  But if we just leave it at, where is it a right and don't say anything, then nobody is going to say anything and nothing will get done either way and what will be the TSA's next move when we didn't give a shit about this?

IMO, this is a violation of the 4th Amendment.  It's a government agency with rules that violate that amendment.

So if it was a private corporation doing these checks.. would you still be opposed to it?

would I?  Yes, I personally would.  Just because it's a private company doing it doesn't mean I have to like it.  I can oppose it and if enough people do oppose it, laws can be supported and maybe passed.  For example, let's say every single grocery store in town had rules that nobody could enter the store under the age of 25.  It might be their right to do that, but it is also the right of people to oppose it and laws can be passed forbidding it.  that's a silly example but any number of other examples could be made.  That's what Ron Paul proposed the other day in response to people who are angry about this.  Just by chance if RP's bill became law, it would then prevent the government or private companies from doing what was pissing off people.  I think it's ok to oppose things if you don't like them.  It's actually possible something gets done about.
