Lisa Murkowski declared herself the winner of Alaska's Senate race Wednesday but her victory may be put on hold if the Republican nominee has his way.
Joe Miller asked a federal judge Thursday to order Alaska to halt its certification of election results, The Associate Press reported.
"An attorney for Joe Miller sought the injunction as part of a previous lawsuit challenging write-in ballots for Lisa Murkowski, the incumbent senator," according to AP.
The lawsuit maintains that voters must write in the candidate's name on the ballot exactly as it is appears on the declaration of candidacy. Law would require voters to write "Lisa Murkowski" or "Murkowski" for the vote to be counted.
But in the case that a voter doesn't spell the name correctly or abbreviates the name, Director Gail Fenumiai says the Division of Elections would determine the voter's intent.

Dude is gutted he got dominated. She ran a campaign that won on write in's. Amazing in this day and age. Palin backed him, he lost. I thought she was Alaska's first lady? ???

Point is, Alaska wanted the other candidate, and he's not willing to accept that.
I remember the big SoreLoserman sticker I had in 2000. This smacks of it.

No, he lost support when he refused to back palin after she originally backed him.

Thought I heard that even if they threw out the questionable ballots that he still loses?

So you're saying Palin's supporters did not vote for him because he did not say he will support her for pres, so they decided to vote for Palin's worst enemy in Alaska??????..That might make sense in your world buddy but not the real one. ;)

He lost support because he wouldn't lie? He lost support because he refused to answer as opposed to saying "no" when asked if Palin was qualified to be POTUS?
Well Okaaaayyyyy!
