Faced with the prospect of large numbers of people refusing the invasive “screening” measures they’ve implemented this holiday season, the TSA is hoping to fight back with threats of fine and arrest.
“Once a person submits to the screening process, they can not just decide to leave” warned Sari Koshetz, a TSA spokesperson. TSA officials say that anyone refusing both the “full body scanners” and the “enhanced pat down” procedures will be taken into custody.
Once there the detainees will not only be barred from flying, but will be held indefinitely as suspected terrorists, face fines of up to $11,000 and may also be turned over to local police. One sheriff’s office said they were already preparing to handle a large number of detainees and plan to treat them as terror suspects, held until they are convinced they don’t pose a terror threat.
The TSA genital “patdowns” have led to threats from some local prosecutors to charge them with sexual assault, but the TSA has shrugged off public outcry over the measures and seems more intent than ever on cowing the public into submission.

once you agree to the screening, either getting the scan or pat down, you cant just walk out.

And in FL and GA once you enter an emergency room for any kind of injury or health threat (other than general sickness), you are forced to stay and be treated. You try to walk out and you will be detained against your will.

YOUR MISTAKING WITH HAVING A VIRUS,,vs somethign else,,any hopstial can detain anyone if one deems neccessary if they carried a dangerous virus or batceria,,you need to attend medical school,,,I have many friends in medical school and are doctors fella so dont try to school me ::)

I have a MoHA and work as HA for the largest hospital in South Florida. I can school you nine ways to Sunday in the hospital and health field if I so wanted to.
Apparently you can't read and comprehend simple English. Or you would have seen my post wasn't limited to virii or airborne bacteria. If someone falls off a swingset, or in your case falls off your mom's tit and bumps your head and you enter a hospital, they can detain you until you submit to treatment. If there is another hospital directly across the street and accepts your insurance and the hospital you are in won't, you are SOL. If you faint in a restaurant and the ambulance takes you to a hospital 3 counties over, and you would rather be inspected at a Jewish hospital by a Jewish doctor, you are SOL.
Perhaps next time you should find one of these friends in medical school you have to help you with your next post on here. And speaking of someone needing to attend school? Try going back to 5th grade and taking a spelling and grammar class again.

So you think this is ok then? ::) I refused treatment after a severe car accident, wouldn't sign their papers. They talked me into getting an X-ray at a minimum and I agreed to only that and refused to consent to all other treatment. Maybe it was stupid, but I'm glad I had the right to make that call. While everyone else in the accident was in the hospital for weeks, I left right after the X-ray.

So you think this is ok then? ::) I refused treatment after a severe car accident, wouldn't sign their papers. You had the X-ray, which is technically all they needed to do in order to cover their asses from their legal department. But you can believe that they were going to do something before letting you leave. In FL and GA it is mandatory to detain you until you have treatment. Treatment can be technically be anything even nothing more than visual inspection and/or prodding. But they don't tell you that because they want to treat you more and bill you more. Bottom line though, you WILL be treated or you WILL be detained until you are.
Do I think that is ok? Hospitals, yes. My point was to illustrate the difference from being detained against your will for valid reasons (hospitals) as opposed to being detained against your will for bullshit reasons (changing your mind and attempting to go home from airport security areas.)

What part of "wrong" are you getting confused with. You are saying EXACTLY the same thing I just said. Minus the part about you walking out, because if you were in GA and FL, that was not going to happen at all. I don't know what state you are in, but I was schooled/interned in GA and work in FL so I can tell you 100% the laws and practices of every single hospital there. You were not walking out of a hospital down here. Again read what I previously said about "treatment". They could have sat you down and just ran their hands over the contour of your body to see if they "felt" any broken bones. They could call that treatment and inspection in the case you did walk out and die on the sidewalk. They would easily say they treated and inspected you and declined anything further. That was their CYA method should your family sue.
The part bolded is EXACTLY why they were not letting you go without some form of treatment/inspection first.
