I followed whatever team Warner was on throughout his career, not many if any sports figures in the world I would call a "role model" but Kurt Warner definitely is. I even follow him on twitter!

And some idiots say that Warner was done when he went to NYG....   but let's look at the facts.

1) - Warner took essentially the same squad (minor personnel changes) that Kerry Collins went 0-8 with to end the 2003 season, and that Eli went 1-7 with (before and after him, respectively), and had a 4-4 record, at the time he was replaced by Eli midway thru 2004. The other guys went a combined 1-15.
2) - Yes, he had fumble issues in 03/04... but his hand was still injured.  Using the glove when he got to AZ fixed this issue, and the grip problems were not indicative of diminishing skills. As he later proved with AZ, he could still play at a very high level. (one of the very best guys EVER against the blitz, and one of the most accurate long ball throwers ever).
3) - When Warner went 4-4 with New York, he had 3/5 of his offensive linemen out with injuries, and Tiki couldn't hold on to the football.  Their defense also sucked and they were often playing from behind.

And that's just scratching the surface.  So, I get sick of all these dipshits who say that he sucked when he was in NY, that just shows the lack of knowledge as a football fan. The fact is, he was pretty much brilliant his whole career, and should be a first ballot HOFer.

Warner has taken his team to the Super Bowl every year that he has played as the starting quarterback during all regular and post season games.

Warner has now recorded the three highest single-game passing yardage totals in the history of the Super Bowl, and joined Joe Montana, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, and Tom Brady as the only quarterbacks to throw a touchdown pass in three different Super Bowls.
