  Jean-Pierre was a beast. The first bodybuilder under 6' to bring a legitimate 280 lbs package onstage. He was also complete with no bodyparts missing. If he had tamed his midsection and learned how to dry out to show more detail on his montrous back, he would have been Mr.Olympia.

They forgot to add in that warning box that a boatload of certain steroids don't strengthen the tendons.

JP is great person.  very honest.  i sent him tickets and $5000 to guest pose in my show.  he got his injury i think the week before he was come over.  he called told me what happened and sent back everything..  class act all the way.  as is mike mattarazzo who the same time got injuryed

Haters have been saying all these years that this was the guy who started the whole insulin monster era, but to me it sounds like a compliment!

Didn't he try a comeback few years back?
What's going on with him now?
