I think we need to mount a campaign to get Billy back. I know many of you disagree with a lot of what he posts, but what happened to him was totally screwed up.
His posts were entertaining, usually well informed, and helped spark debate and discussion.
We all get shat upon by other posters at times, but what was permitted to happen with Billy was over the line, especially with his kids.
So, I'm giving a shout out for Billy to come back to the board.

Billy should come back. That kinda stuff, especially the comments about his kids, was way out of line. Unless someone posts the pics themselves, family and friends of posters should be off limits. So many funny people on this site, but thats such a cheap way of trying to get laughs.....

They started a thread trashing him on G&O that gotten way out of hand. They photoshopped images of him is crazy ways and spent page after page after page mocking him. Billy made a post with 4 options how to deal with him, and the last one was "Option D - wanna fight?"
From there, take took on a life of its own.
But it got worse, the threads were deleted and another was posted and TA put up picks of billys' kids on the site.
Hugo, myself, and a few others tried running some interference because it was just screwed up what was going on, but it just got crazy.
He also made a nasty remark about Ron that I don't think went over too well but that is not what set it off.

billy asked him questions which were like backhanded insults.

Like it's some special achievement to get loaded up on steroids and jump into a shirt where you can press an extra 200 LBS with piss poor form. Power-lifting is a similar to bodybuilding, you can't be the best unless using chemical means. Billy would be have achieved nothing if he wasn't chemically enhanced. He often bragged about having all these injuries from Iron game, claiming that he can't even put on his own socks..However, he still plans on adding 100 pounds to his squat total in 2 years.

Yes i know, i'm a powerlifter myself and i use steroids (most of my posts since i joined in 2004 are in the steroid board). Steroids do have a big part in every sport, i know many guys who thought that if they would "hop on" gear they would be something special overnight, but it simply does not work that way. I currently lift raw and i allways use pretty small doses (because they work and i'm prone to sides) if they didn't i'd use more...
But whatever you think about his lifting it still was way out of line to involve his family...
And most of the guys in getbig have at least tried gear so they really can't play that card anyway...

This thread has been my days distraction.
Couple of things come to Mind and I understand I do not have all the info and was not reading the threads and posts in question. So with limited info.....
..posting the pic of the kids as a way to attack someone was in bad taste, but not like an intensely wrong thing to do such a direct racial attack and slur.
- when Billy first started posting on get big he used to challenged people as to why they don't use their real names. Maybe he sees why now, aside from the obvious stuff he should have already known.
- something probably should have been done sooner by the mods on the g and o board, but I don't know, I didn't see it all happen.
- I can understand why he's pissed. But everyone has their own lines they think shouldn't be crossed. He wasn't a passive poster for sure and one of the things I like about Billy is that he doesn't hold back and speaks his mind. I can respect that even though I don't usually agree with him.

I think Billy should come back. If Bay really tried to "out" him, that's pretty outrageous. Not cool at all.
Also not cool to try and involve someone's kids. People, this is only the internet. Leave the personal stuff, especially people's families, out of whatever disputes you have on the board. Know where to draw the line.
