most are dealers ,,remailers,,have sponsor who pay them enough for the purchases that they do online or via guru,, some pay the guru which is a major drug dealer,, and some just cook it themselves from poweders or have online learn by yourslefd chemist friend who cook it for them and some of them are quite good infact some are great you can count them on one hand but those ones are the sucesful cookers lol
money is not issue since all money go to bodybuilding putpoes no other expenses when amatuer and when pros also are pretty similar only also earn some bucks from sponsor and that go to drugs ,,visious circle,,but thats how life of bodybuilder is ,,
about 1000 dollar a month for gh at 15 iu a day sometime less if buy major bulk,,but around there so in a year 12 k for gh only ,,american gh tripe expense sometims quadrouple but legit gh is legit gh

I don't think Yates had surgery on the bicep. It all depends on where the tear occurs. If you have a nice clean tear at the musculo-skeletal injunction with a nice piece of tendon to sew back on you will be one of the lucky ones.

I'm no surgeon but to my understanding pretty much all muscle tears occur at the injunction where tendon and muscle meet. If the tear is closer to the muscle there might not be enough tendon to sew back on. "It's like trying to sew hamburger" is what some doctors describe the bad cases as. Or sometimes they are described as good cases since if most of the tendon is intact surgery may not be necessary and function is pretty much intact. Aesthetically they look bad since the muscle retracts as in Yates' case. Yates continued to do heavy movements involving the bicep. If I recall correctly his tricep tear was repaired and he said most of the tendon had detached. Even after surgery he said the tricep was much weaker.
