Without a doubt.
Nasser = several notches above today's "graduating class".
Still huge and over 300lb to this day... "oh but why 'stay' so heavy once retired?" well because he simply effortlessly can.. not kissing his ass but Nasser is just in into another class of human mass.

even from his first days of training and into the high amateur levels, nasser had an ugly physique with no flow, a bunch of disconnected parts and horrible balance. only when he was absolutely huge did he resemble something half balanced and even then his gut was like every other massive pro.
hardly a genetic marvel.
for me it proves one thing..drugs are certainly not the finishing touch. even someone with shit genetics but willing to stuff loads of hormones and god knows what into themselves can become huge and a pro.
the myth that the drugs dont seperate the gifts from the rest is just that- a myth. loads of drugs can and will put anyone over the top. loads of drugs into a half decent gene pattern is a bonus.
on top of that, the best genetics arent even doing bodybuilding..they are doing sports that pay well- without the risks now, and the long term damage.

Closest he came IMO was probably '97 but Dorian's back was light years ahead of Nasser's as well as always being drier all over.

that clip shows how Nasser really was the very best from 1995-1998 and should have won @ least 3 sandows.

Nasser was never deserving of an O. Not a terrible physique but not a great one.
Good hamstrings though. I do remember when i was younger there was a Flex article on his hamstring training and they looked phenomenal. And oil-free, unlike other areas.

Nasser was the 1st and only Mass Monster who @ 280-300 pounds had incredible shap[e, symmetry, proportions, small waist with no gut distension and balance.

Even is 13 weeks out from a show and he'll end up being 255-260lbs on stage...Ronnie @ 280 vs. Nasserole @ 280 is a more favorable comparison...And Ronnie kills Nasserole.

You are in denial. Nasser was schmoetastic, but he had a gut. He controlled it well in competition, for the most part, but that doesn't make it any less true. Same with Ronnie by the way. Anyhow many schmoes dig a roid belly. :D

Nasserole was great should have won at least 1 Mr. O....I'd say 97...Yates was too incomplete...He had Nasser on back Nasser had him on everything else.
