You forgot #52 out of Baltimore. Maybe not top 5 any more but he isn't far behind. Made 13 tackles and a forced fumble against the Steelers Sunday night.

And Suggs is more of a down lineman than a Linebacker.

Ok.. for all time great.. Murder Ray/Buckhead Slasher...Mr.Lewis is the blue print of a Middle. He is absolutey perfect. Smart, Strong, heady, solid tackler, leader, great in pass coverage, run stopping.. playing well in big games. he is the best that ever played Linebacker. Maybe LT is the only one slightly better because he just fully dominated everyone for like 10 years. Lawrence Taylor and Kevin Greene are the same mold. Pass rushing Lbers...

Would you say Harrison is best lber in leauge?

Great choices.I've got to give my boy Mayo his due. He's leading the NFL in tackles by a large margin.

I wouldn't say it's Harrison but he's up there for sure. He's upper echelon and his stats so far this season back it up. Doesn't he have 6 forced fumbles? Damn.

I think Patrick Willis is the total package. Fast as hell, way better in zone coverage than Ray, by virtue of his youth and range. His awareness and football IQ are way up the charts.   It's a shame that he plays for such a shitty team. But he's probably a 49er for life. The 49er's would be idiots to let him go as a free agent. He'll be the highest paid defender in the league in a couple of years.

I cant say willis... He is the most gifted and talented Lber in Football.. But he dosent beat out Ray Lewis. Yeah Ray has lost a step, but he still gets to the ball carrier faster down hill than anyone and it dosent have to do with speed.. Dude just knows more football than anyone.. maybe even coaches...

And i retract... Ray is best linebacker on his team. Suggs is a stand up DE..

Perhaps!

But, if you're talking best linebackers of all time, you forgot one on your list:

Derrick Brooks of The Tampa Bay Bucs: 11-time Pro Bowler, 2002 Defensive Player of the Year, 5 defensive TDs in that same season (most of any linebackers in history, 2nd all-time among defensive players)....AND A SUPER BOWL RING (he got defensive TD #5 in Super Bowl XXXVII).

na...rite now....

but best weakside Linebacker is Brooks no question. Dude was a linebacker and played coverage like a stong safety...definatley...

Brooks Ray and Seau are my 4-3 lbers

my 3-4 lbers are kevin Greene, LT, harrison and Greg Lloyd

Of all the linebackers you mentioned, only LT and Lewis can be put above Brooks.
