Title: This is all I have
Post by: The Italian Lifter on December 11, 2010, 08:32:13 AM

90 lbs of plates, one barbell, two dumbells, a small bench.

For a couple of months this will be everything I'll have to train.

Any ideas?

I was thinking super-slow movements, super-sets...

Jimmy, I do not want to be boring with all the story, but of course this is my only option (unfortunately no gym).

Thanks anyway, for the funny post  ;D

Do body resistance training/plyometrics

inverted crawl, elevated push ups, pull ups, etc. etc.

What weight are the db's? Can you order more plates?

10 sets of 10 reps with 30 seconds rest would be intense for most bodyparts.

Sounds as if you should follow the Falcon principles of many reps through out the day. Serge Nubret never trained heavy but did many sets per day. Heavy and progression is the other way my preference but hey you got to work with what you got.

No problem bro...good luck with it.

PS-For legs you could do stiff-legged deadlifts super-setted with barbell lunges for 20 reps each with short rest periods.

Thanks for the great info Wes, I appreciate your free help.

As for the rest periods regarding legs I'll do my best (considering my age).

Your equipment is more than enough... search youtube for home workout system, there is a gay man with a fhising hat on, allways shirtless showing what he eats and how he trains at home with very low weight resistance.

The thing is you should also train your back, get some pull up set or something aswell.

Remember to train your legs as well, squat jumps etc...

Be boring and tell us. You're going to outer space? Cause anywhere else there's a gym.

Pile all the weights/dbs on the edge of the table, tie string to them, lay on the floor below them and pull the string. Hopefully crushing your skull and saving us from anymore of your dreadful posts.

take the 2 months off. let your body completely heal. do normal things, eat normal foods, enjoy life. then when you start back up again hit it hard and your body will respond.

this is the creature I was talking about

But since you are a hardcore war veteran, you don't care  what people think, so you can train outside aswell.

Things you can do:

Weighted pushups or 1 arm pushup variation.
Pullovers and dumbell raises to all directions for back and shoulders.
Deep front squats.
1 legged good morning.
Ab and oblique training is easy, as is arm etc.
Lower back traning is quite difficult.  :( You could try the bodyweight movement called "Superman", I don't like the movement but it's ok if you have nothing else.

hahaha The Italian Lifter = one cool old italian guy (or gimmick, who knows)

sounds like a gimmick  if there ever was one, dude don't be so simple.

If he won't post any pictures of himself he is full of shit and no getbigger shall take him seriously or ackowledge him.

More has been built with less than this. Stay positive, and you'll do fine.

Take the bench and strap it on your back long ways, take the bar and strap it to your out stretched arms so you look like Jesus on the cross, take the dumbells and tie them to your hands, take the 90lbs of weights and tie them to your feet.find a bridge over water.

....jump!

As far as taking me seriously or "acknoledge me" I don't give a shit: I have 60 min a day on the only one pc here and I just want to have fun.

What are your goals exactly? To get bigger and stronger? To get leaner? To achieve a greater level of fitness? Something else? Also, if possible, get one of them super fine gorgeous assed Italianas to be your training partner, and make sure that her workout uniform consists of some super tiny cherry red or neon yellow string bikini in the thong style ;D That will be sure to give you lots of motivation, and a very nice testosterone spike 8)

Heres my advice on what you should do with the equipment you have.

Use the barbell to throw through the window of a gym(after hours). Use the bench to step on(if needed) to get through the broken glass of the window of the gym. Use one of the dumbbells to hit the security guard over the head. Use the other dumbbell if he decides to get up.

Steal as much equipment from the gym that will fit into your already stolen truck/van. Don't use a white windowless V.Basile type van. Cops are always on the look out for those types of vans. And steal some tags. Maybe even from an old villian of yours.

If the police catch up to you while driving, slow down and let them pull up to the side of the stolen truck or van. Then, use your assorted weight plates to throw like frisbees at any and all police cars. If done right, you should be able to cause them to wipe out. You might want to practice throwing weight plates just to be sure though.

I would also advice you to wear some sort of mask when doing this. Any past American Presidents masks would be a good touch. Maybe even throw a surfboard on the top of the van/truck just for giggles.

And if by any chance you do get busted by Johnny Utah. Just tell him your name is Bodhi and your trying to get in shape so you can surf a once in a lifetime fifty year storm. He'll probably uncuff you and just let you go.

Hint: Its dangerous to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.
