All Dos driven one of the strongest operating systems ever.

i still use a DOS system to do my members monthly dues withdrawals. some banks still use it behind the scenes as it is a great filing system.

Amazing how 25 years later I'm watching that commercial on a PC with 32,000 times more RAM. The original Mac had NO storage space yet I have 5+ terabytes on various drives. I have a dual-quad cpu many thousands of times faster than the 8mhz 68000 from Motorola

My entire setup, along with a 30 inch monitor is about 1/4 the inflation adusted price ( Back in 1984 the list price was about 2500, since then real inflation has cut buying power by a factor of 4)

i read that if the car industry had the progress of the computer industry then cars would : cost about ten dollars and go around the world at the speed of sound on a thimble full of gas.
