Ron, were there any particular photographs that got you the award?
If not, why not post a few pics of the best photos you feel you have taken this year?
Congrats! 8)

I've seen him in action and I'm amazed at how well his pictures turn out given some of the environments - ie: a dark club where it's hard to see what you're doing.
Ron & Isaac = the paparazzi of bodybuilding ;D

I'm sure that works to everyone's advantage.

I'm talking about handling the camera and being able to see what you're trying to photograph doofus ;D

Where did Isaac (Lift Studios) place?
Isaac has won it three years in a row. He is the man. One of the best photographers out there and only getting better. I am glad honored to be in the same arena as Isaac, as his pics are truly the best. Still, his lenses are bigger than mine.

Not sure, there are many. I am lucky is that I get to be backstage, behind the scenes, and get to capture some special moments that are off stage. Some great pics with Joe Weider, of the emotions backstage, of the joy of the actuality of winning an award, of the disappointment of working so hard, and missing it by ONE point.
And sometimes, you get lucky. The right pictures after hours of waiting, the moment you know that the picture that was taken is going to be a classic. And not having an ego. I am not the subject, not the star. Always remember that. I am not the bodybuilder, the figure competitor, the one on stage who worked hard to get there. I am there to capture and have fun. If someone is happy that I took a good picture, then I am happy.
