I take it before bed.
Are you considering liquid or pill form?
What price are you paying?

I used it in a form of powder. I took it before bed with or without food. In both cases it kept me awake all night. My body does not respond too well to gaba. I included couple of links that explain what is gaba and what effect it might have on your body:

Me too. It gave me insomnia, just the opposite of what I wanted. I was taking pill form though.

Are you referring to tingles? Because GABA does have a tendency to give some people a tingling sensation throughout their body... it feels almost like your skin is crawling. I too experienced that when I first started taking GABA. It's the result of your sensory receptors opening up. It does pass after a day or two... but I gotta admit, it's a creepy feeling, and makes it difficult to sleep at first. Now, ...I sleep like a baby. :)

I think it gave me insane nightmares...kinda cool ;)

not sure. I just couldn't get to sleep, almost like caffeine jitters. Maybe I'd try your advices [sic].

For my wife and I it worked well in the begining
But after a couple of weeks we used to wake up feeling hung over
Other than the buzz I never go much more out of it

Yep that's it. I think the trick is to be consistent, ...especially if taking it before bed, in order for those symptoms to pass.
