These two teams make the holidays special regardless of their record. They have many fans worldwide as they have haters. Besides, who'd want to watch the Saints play the Chargers while sitting with their families? Or just as bad, who'd want to watch the Pacers and Clippers go at it? NOT
-
they should be games that have importance...
cowboys vs the cardinals is meaningless
saints vs the chargers at least has some importance to the NFL this year...
if it wasnt for having kitna and jones on my fantasy team I probably wouldnt waste my time watching the fooseball game tomorrow.

Dallas may be headed no where this yr...but our WORLDWIDE fans and haters will be rushing SOMEWHERE (NFL net) to watch! I don't do fantasy if I did, the roster would be filled with Cowboys (current and former) and former Trojans!

its b/c they are the only ones playing...
the saints vs chargers game would get the same ppl plus the football fans that are interested in how a important game to the playoffs turns out...

Thats what SUNDAYS (other) games are for. the "other" teams. Dallas (like the Lakers) are a sports entertainment tradition team. Saints and Chargers cannot sell shit outside NO and SD!

doesnt matter ppl arent tuning into the football game b/c the cowboys are playing, they are tuning in to watch football and more ppl would tune in if the game actually meant something

It certainly won't be because the Cardinals (w/o Warner) are playing. But whether or not Dallas HAD a game to play for , the same amound of millions watching wouldn't change. They are a TRADITIONAL team...not just "another fukking team". people who have little care in the nfl care enough to watch Dallas eith because they know who they are or just hate them in any case the ratings will be high!

LOL that watch b/c football is the tradition, not the cowboys...
the same number of ppl that watch the cowboys would watch the saints vs chargers game...
plus the one who actually cared about football
again ppl are not tuning in just b/c of the cowboys...

If Dallas was not playing, 90 percent of the whole state of Texas wouldn't tune in. Cowboys bring more than football lovers to the tv! That's not just a pro Cowboy fan statement its just a true traditional fact! If what your saying is true, then tv would have changed the times we (the world) watch the Detroit and Dallas games! Imaging rushing off the dallas game so the world can get together and eat with their families to watch Detroit! WOW! Great cheerleader....nice halftime show! NOT!

LOL yes but that 90% of texas would be replace with the saints and chargers fans that tune in to watch that game that dont watch the cowboys/cards game B/C ITS POINTLESS
youre out of your mind reg, again youre compensating for a shitty season

Again there is nothing to compensate for our shitty season has NOTHING to do with our popularity. Texas Longhorns had a bad yr but I guarantee you if they got invited to today's Bowl game vs Hawaii more people would be watching it! Not only true Dallas fans and beer drinking football fans watch Dallas on holidays. The pencil neck geeks and others who don't care much for the game tune in also and they make up more of a percentage.

In the 3-4????? He was 6-9 277 ! Too slow for OLB and too small for DE! But I do miss the guy! But we have arguably the best pass rusher in the game. Aside from they guy you guys let pack away!

I agree with you but those ppl would still be watching the saints vs chargers game
they dont tune in b/c of the cowboys they tune in b/c of the tradition of football

No they don't tune in because those teams are not as popular as Dallas! before Katrina no one cared who the saints were. SD is just another west coast NFL franchise...if Dallas was scheduled to play them here in LA, there'd be more stars on hats in the Coliseum! Sorry but its true the world tunes into the NFL just because of the Dallas Cowboys for good or bad! I am not bragging or BSng you...just stating facts. i sometimes wish Dallas was just another team ...especially on these holidays its annoying to try to balance the game and family ...true fans have enough stress of xmas shopping but then have to worry about if Barber is playing.....which MLBs are playing...etc etc on a major holiday...AND to top it off my LAKERS same problem... Every Thanksgiving noon has been hell for me.....while the family is worried about food, my mind is on the game plan! cowboy and Laker fans (true ones) go through this year in and year out. OTHER teams (maybe one of yours ) may play on a holiday but usually on traditional Sundays which is a cake walk....its ez to think nothing but football on a Sunday morning (though I should go to church) but on a family get together holiday its a pain in the butt! Like Phil Jackson said....LAL played on EVERY HOLIDAY last yr 2009! NY's....MLK....Easter,,,memorial day (playoffs but just saying) Vets day and Thanksgiving ! He never got to spend leisure time with Buss's daughter!
