In their defense the idea is that the terrrists could plant a device on these people and they unknowingly carry it into the airport.

can't be healthy working there without protection either, the back scatter hour after hour from those x-rays got to add up.

dentists and doctors always have protection, exit the room every time. maybe they are just smarter?
