That article has some good points, but you need a break from this "life" every now and then or you'll go mad. Plus, all i know is when i go to sleep drunk as fuck, i'm big as hell and when i wake up in mad hangover i'm still big so...

Im not even bother foing out to "party" as if i was waitina a whole year to go out and "party". I prefer staying with my family at home and enjoy some home made food. Fuck those "celebrations"....I love how the mayority of those fools always end up in some life threatening situations...i just love it. party my ass

The articles main point is simply to offer some awareness of the effects and their severity, it's not intended to say you can't ever have fun.
There are a lot of guys and I guarantee you there are quite a few here who eat well, train hard but for the most part stay the same and I'd bet you nine times out of ten alcohol is the culprit.
Nothing wrong with a little fun in moderation but a big night of binging can really set you back.

i think one night a week of binge drinking is probably better than drinking modeeratley 3-4 times a week. in either situation, i dont think its going to effect results much, besides possibly increase fat stores if drinking hgih calorie and not compensating elsewhere in the diet.
i used to think alcohol would really be a gains killer, but that was before i actually tried drinking occasionally and seeing how it effected my progress. nowdays i get drunk maybe 2-3 times per month. no real difference in recovery/strength/growth. in fact i think getting a little beligerant every so often helps keep one in an animalistic mood fitting for lifting heavy ass weights.

...and I don't eat honey but yes, I have a shake with oatmeal or peanut butter every morning.

Even though I speak sarcasm very well I'll still answer your question being as I'm bored as all outside right now.
I don't take any supplements other than Juice Plus+ and calcium. The largest I've ever been was right under 240, I'm a tad over 5'9". The best shape I've ever been in was 197lbs 4.3% bf. I'm nothing special but I enjoy what I do and have been fortunate enough to make a living doing what I love to do.

My HGH & Test must be of a little girl this week. Been on vacation, drinking a few beers and a few tequila shots each night.
That's OK, Jan 2nd, back to healthiness! Got 2 more nights to enjoy myself. :D
