Welfare in the USA isn't same than it used to be, and it is going downwards. Detroit used to be home of the car industries, now it is a graveyard. It is 11th city in U.S, meaning it isn't any little village. Whole Michigan is going to shit, and rest of the country will follow. There isn't workplaces, no factories to feed people and keep city going, so this will be future of the USA. I have seen these cities in Russia, there it is quite common to leave the city when it is time to close factory which has been bread and butter for the people. Now that will be common in the USA. Nice trend if you are member of the middle class or working class.
