I was looking thru some older mags, I had a mag that had Capriese Murray in it , along with Craig Ruchardson...and Rodney St. Cloud...other ones, Henderson Thorne, and Alq Gurley, and Alex Federov...what are they doing
Also mag from 1995, has Renita Harris (Hot damn!), and Dayana Cadeau that looks very attractive...
*****In the June 1993 Flex, Charles Glass said of training Flex Wheeler: "I got him working out on a four on/one-off system now...and he's so damn strong, I've been telling him to back off on the tonnage a little bit and concentrate more on the quality of his muscle mass. When he competes in the pros this year, he's going to upset a lot of bodybuilders' apple carts. This man is dangerous!"
Now in Flex's book, published about 10 yrs later, Flex had stated the same, that Charles told him to back off of the heavy weights..could this just have been a adaptation of a training style, instead of training balls to the wall like he used to do as a amatuer?

I think Flex was considered lazy because people compared him with Chris Cormier. Cormier was a former high school wrestler and they tend to be hard workers. Flex was a karate practioner. They tend to be kinda not-so tough.
I think Cormier was seen as the hard worker in the gym.

Cormier was a beast in the gym....ppl say he was lazy but still has prob. Top five wins IFBB all time...and competed during the Golden Age of Doz/Ronnie then later on in the forced fed handpicked 'Cutler' era ::) ::) ::)

True, I was looking at a Flex mag from 2005, it's where Chris came in 2nd again, to Dex at the Arnold. They stated that Cormier has had distinction of being 2nd at the Arnold SIX times! Said he was 10 points for each round for Dex's 5, and when he "lost" to Jay in 2004, it was a 30 to 31, losing my 1 point...
***Jason Huh is in the same mag...5 yrs later he wins his Pro card...

Went to LA last month from Dallas like I do every month. Rode on the plane w Mike Morris on the way there and Flex was on the plane on my way back. What a coincidence. As much shit as they get. Both looked huge and healthy in person and way bigger than the last pics we've seen of them here.
