So what's your opinion??
Maybe SMM can also help us here a little further, he puts idiots like Einstein in his place with his 280 super-IQ.

I'm saying just because someone made a huge advancement in their field (physics, in this case), doesn't mean they are head and shoulders above everyone else in all matters of intelligence. I don't know much about Einstein, but I have read Nasser's interviews and the guy has a good understanding of many things that have eluded many a "genius" mathematician, physicist, doctor, artist, etc.

Einstein wasn't smart enough to carry Nasser's tupperware of chicken breast

Why is it stupid?

Why is it stupid?
I do not know with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones
Obviously the point of this quote is that we have very destructive weapons available today, ones capable of leveling society. But he's clearly trying to say this common, obvious truth in maxim form, so that it will resonate for years to come. This was a very popular practice with German intellectuals of that era (which he probably picked up from Schopenhauer, his personal favorite -- btw a man who was much more intelligent, in general, than Einstein), but he screwed it up. Why on earth would there ever be a WWIV fought with "sticks and stones"? It's absurd to imagine that a society with prehistoric technology could ever somehow wage a "World War."
Last night I read through a lot of his other quotes (http://www.heartquotes.net/Einstein.html) and, outside of his specialty, it would seem he was a very average thinker. He'll make a very good observation:
A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'universe', a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness.
and draw a silly conclusion in his very next sentence:
This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.
You are ALWAYS restricted to your "personal desires and ... affection for a few persons nearest to" you. If you want to pretend like you have compassion for everyone, that is because you have the PERSONAL DESIRE to do so, and whether or not that is a good idea is not a given, as he seems to think it is. Sure, you probably want to pretend like you have everyone's best interest in mind, so that history spares your reputation when you develop a bomb that ends up killing millions of people, if not EVERYONE!
As I said before, certainly Einstein was one of the most gifted physicists in history, but that doesn't mean he was on some sort of next level-intellectual plane in general. Because his inventions had serious implications for all of humanity, his intellect seems that much greater. But most of the great specialist minds in history have had serious lapses of judgment when they start talking about general matters, which we are all qualified to discuss.

I thought Nasser was big? I don't see it.

first of all let me applaud you on the effort you put into this post.
now, your first critique is much too harsh, and your trying to convict based on semantics. a world war fought with sticks and stones. does that imply mass organization? or is it simply a reference to a time when the earth is lawless and lacking technology/tools and there is unchecked crime, violence, vigilance. could that not be a "world war"? define 'world war'. its only fitting that he make that comment with that wording so it flows well and gets across his intended point. and that is something you already seem to grasp, so your criticism here is kind of mute.
your second critique is just flawed. of course its a given that one should have love and compassion for all things in existence. you just seem anti-religious with that bit.

Train A leaves Chicago at 6:00 pm traveling 60mph filled with 8 soiled thongs. Train B departs from Boston at 8:35 pm traveling 75 mph filled with 10 soiled thongs. Which train will get to the FedEX facility in Tennesee first to ship out it's contents to a creepy, unibrowed schmoe in Arabia?

err, no. the great minds dont generally have lapses of judgement on general matters. you need to capture context, and state of mind of certain statements.
einstein is widely recognised to have a high IQ for starters- was capable of thinking others couldnt dream of, and was eccentric...meaning that he was at times, odd.
and generally- a much higher chance than joe public, these thinkers do have superior thinking in all facets.
please post what nasser insights have eluded genius mathematicians etc....im sure we'd all like to see what sort of thoughts elude these god given superhumans.
