ok say if you start one arm pushups with left hand..
now kick out your right leg to the side on the floor and up AGAINST a wall or door ALSO keep right arm on thigh for support, this gives the support needed in order to maintain balance. especially if you are a big man youl be lucky to get a half one arm pushup. with this youll crucify all the upper body muscles on your left . when doing the pushup just go down as far as you feel safe too. eventually you will progress if you do this everyday and eat like me and drink plenty of water like me
but this form/techniqe will get you on the road of really teaching your body to use the abs chest and arm all at once without injury

Do your push-ups in a slo-mo style, taking 6 seconds for both the positive and negative phases. I just tried this technique with dips, and I could only do 4 fucking reps with my bodyweight.

i prefer to press as hard as i can rather than slow mo
im getting a little bored wth doing 110 pushups a day
id like to do 50 left 50 right one arm pushups a day or more, if i can get to the point where im doing 100 per arm total in sets then i think i would bench 500 pounds

The way that you do these push-ups, as fast as possible for lots of reps, isn't gonna build any size and strength on ya. Yeah, that style of training while build cardio-vascular condition a bit, but it's useless for size and strength gains (says the 160 pound twink ;D )

half assed 5 per arm just started doing them
also doing some pushups with 40 pound backpack i get 10-15 during training

unfortunatley i cant find any morbidly obese girls on plenty of fish, alot of them are very average looking with no real rediculous fat mac truck asses or giant tits

Yes these are called ALW's "average looking women" with heavy cellulite, big eyebrows, a couple of kids and a ford escort but good for sitting on your back for progressive overload on the pushups.

Well, if you can build up to 20 or so reps with the 1 armed push-ups, then you would most likey have some pretty good pec/delt/tri development going on man.
