She gave the best speech by far IMHO.
-
I posted this video yesterday on your lame thread titled
Tacky Shirts and Jeering at the Memorial made me turn the channel.
did you actually watch all the other speeches because yesterday you said all the jeering (btw - I didn't actually hear any jeering - you know the difference between that and "cheering" right?) made you change the channel
why was it OK when the crowd cheered when she spoke but not OK when they cheered when others spoke

The crowd cheering likea hocey game was not ok in any speech.
No teleprompter, no trash about "bad rhetoric", mentioned the victims by name, was clearly heart felt etc.
-
This was supposed to be a memorial service and yet all this cheering ruined it. Again politics prey on the dead and injured.

there was no teleprompter
he read his speech just like Brewer did
Obama mentions the victims by name too and seemed just as heart felt as Brewer

yeah cheering when the people who died (some heroically using their body to shield others) were mentioned is just so disrepectful
It was especially disrepectful when they cheered after hearing that Giffords had opened her eyes for the first time.
it really ruined the memorial
just horrible
-
Straw - please - of course he had a telepronpter.
What do you think the whiplash head movement is all about?

he read it just like Brewer read hers
you can see them both looking down and reading their remarks
btw - what did think of that part of Brewers speech (we know you liked it) where she praised Obama. You must have liked that part too
-
All that cheering for Daniel Hernandez (20 year old hispanic kid credited with saving Giffords life) was especially disgusting
that really ruined the memorial
I wonder why all those people cheered.
didn't they know they were ruining this for the rest of us?

She showed a ton of class, despite the fact that Obama has sued her state over te immigration law and made her a publc enemy of the far left like yourself.
I like her, I loathe obama. He is as phony as they get. Why did he not show up at the Ft. Hood memorial? hhhmmmm?

That kid was really good IMHO.
I saw his speech and was highly impressed at his poise and composure.

???
I assume that was so people could see him and they had captioning so people could read what was being said and being heard (i.e. "applause")
did that ever occur to you

btw - Obama did go to Ford Hood.
He spoke at a memorial service and met privately with the victims and their families

I guess the lack of campaign production style tees ect made it less memoramable.

more likely you read it on some right wing website or heard it on Faux News and just assumed it was true without bothering to verify
someone else on this board made the same comment a couple of days ago

obama certainly politicized this tragedy. But it's what presidents (and politicians in general) do every time.
Remember Bush cashing in on 911? Rummy telling his people to attach iraq to pentagon attack "real or otherwise"? Patriot act pushed thru 2 days later? You're with us, or youre with the terrorists?
Scumbaggery from obama, and scumbaggery from every other poitician. That screencap of the big screen with 'applause' on it... that says it all right there.

I didn't see any politicizing from Obama (IMO)
that screen cap is CLOSED CAPTIONING
check it out on your TV sometime and you'll see the same thing
-
Bama gave a typical speech, nothing memorable whatsoever. That mexican which doctor pissed me off though, especially after the dolts in the crowd cheered his race baitring on.

the list of stuff that pisses you off is long and ridiculous
The person you're speaking about is native american and hispanic, a medical doctor, and an associate professor at the University of Az where the memorial was held and was asked by the president of the university to give this opening "blessing". Giffords constituents include native americans.
