I'm brushing up my resume' tonight and scheduling interviews this week.
From the job availability I have found through online recruiters entry level positions for pharm sales the pay is decent and you get company car and dental, medical coverage.
Anyone here have any job experience in the industry?

I agree an average of 4.2k per month working under 8 hrs per month is great money but imagine how much more I could earn if I actually got a "real" job in Addition to the online biz? :D

brutal trying to get a pharm job so you can steal your pharm grade tren and eq. out of the stock room.
gh15 has probably done this plenty of times, I'm sure he approves of the job and can give you some pointers.

i'm in phar science, tried a couple of yrs back when i was coming out of undergrad, and the companies were big on RNs esp in medical device sales given their connect points with physicians. everything in the pharma sales end was 5-10 yrs exp with BA in Business or MBA. CRS starting was something like 50-62K + commission if i remember. CRS III was in the 120k range.

There has been a lot of regulation recently, and the industry ain't what it used to be. If you don't have direct experience, (or relevent experience) it's going to be tough. I say this because you'll be competing with people who are overqualified for an entry level position, due to the current job market, as well as the high turnover rate that comes w/ sales.

I heard being a former college athlete helps also looks play a big part.
I'm shooting out resume' Thursday and will keep you posted on the interview front.

actually we spoke on the subject via pm as I work online as well, and have for over a decade. I still have some of the pm's in my box in fact, where you mentioned you were trying to break the 10k/month barrier.

I am recruiter in the Life Sciences sector. Sales is VERY cut throat right now. If you don't have direct experience, you better know someone within a company cause chances are very slim. Many companies want college grads that they can "mold" and pay pennies or someone with expereince that can bring a book of biz
