my calves have improved a lot

when doing calf raises on machines, i go as high as possible and squeeze, then lower to a stretch and pause, and repeat...i usually do sets of 50 seconds

ascending stairway raises are great
1st step u do 1 raise
2nd step 2 raises
3rd step 3 raises
etc etc

also, high incline treadmill walks
and sprinting

I've been doing mostly high rep sets on a leg press machine for calves.  Sets of 20-25 reps.  Open to suggestions though.

It's kind of difficult to get a decent calf photo when you are taking them yourself.  Tried to get a few different angles.

Good calves SH .
my suggestion : full stretch and contraction ,stretch between sets .

I try to squeeze really hard at the top and stretch at the bottom like you mentioned.  The stairway raises sound like they might work pretty well.
wait what are stairways doing in your bathroom routine  ???

aren't elevators more appropriate?  ???

a common mistake most people make with calves is doing the raises off of their big toes...do them off the ball of your foot

I don't really understand what you mean by this, can you explain?  I normally position my feet halfway off the machine / leg press / etc, and descend as far down as i can with my heels, and then raise up as high as i can onto my toes.  Not sure what you mean by "do them off the ball of your foot."

i keep tellin pepople confuse water with fat,,if its giggle it is usualy water! ,,unlike what you used to from arnold saying back in the day,,if you touch your lowe back and it bounces back like when you throw stone on water trying to jump it up...when water do the multiple wave in reaction to you throwing the stone,,if the skin bounces this way to your quick touch then it is WATER,,this fella is 9% maybe a little less,,he is basiucaly 6 week from competition in local level if he is on oxandrolona and trenbolona with some testosterona,,add gh in and you got it sized up in the same condition ,,thats the name of the game my friends

I'm doing the same diet I've used before to get lean, the Atkins diet.  I modify it slightly for my own personal preferences, but pretty much a very low carb diet.

A typical day is something like this

Meal 1:  3 eggs, 2 slices pepper jack cheese, 2 slices colby cheese
Meal 2:  1.5 chicken breast with mustard and 2 slices of colby cheese
Meal 3:  2 scoops of grilled chicken from Qdoba
Meal 4:  3 eggs, 2 slices pepper jack cheese, 2 slices colby cheese

If I'm still hungry I might have another meal late at night which would be either the same as Meal 2, or 2 cans of tuna with some ranch dressing.

Of course, once in a while I mix it up with something else, but this is pretty much what I've been eating.  It's been working fine so far, and has worked well in the past.

Once every couple of weeks I might have a cheat meal or cheat day and eat some protein bars, or ice cream.  It's a minor setback to the diet to have the cheat days, but mentally I need some junk food every once in a while.

You look great, can you tell me how much proteins are there cause I dont know this measurments??And how much do you weigh?
Title: Re: Calves - Been working on improving them a bit
Post by: no one on February 13, 2011, 10:09:20 AM
I don't keep track of the exact amount of protein I'm eating.  It's pretty much a higher protein, moderate to low fat, low carb diet.

its 'pretty much' a higher protein, moderate to low fat diet, eh?  ::) do you have any clue what you are talking about? just curious.

for starters, sparky- there is maybe 100 grams of protein in your diet- and your consuming almost the same amount of calories in fat.

how the fuck you come up with 'high protein, moderate to low fat'?

stick to posting pics of your calves instead of giving dieting advise, even though both are equally embarrassing.

It's called math.  Be careful though, it's not for the stupid.   :-*

this is your post, right?

A typical day is something like this

Meal 1:  3 eggs, 2 slices pepper jack cheese, 2 slices colby cheese
Meal 2:  1.5 chicken breast with mustard and 2 slices of colby cheese
Meal 3:  2 scoops of grilled chicken from Qdoba
Meal 4:  3 eggs, 2 slices pepper jack cheese, 2 slices colby cheese

If I'm still hungry I might have another meal late at night which would be either the same as Meal 2, or 2 cans of tuna with some ranch dressing.

lets see here, einstein- according to THIS post your taking in a whole 124 grams of protein or so a day, give or take a few. a far cry from the second diet you posted- almost half actually. lol

heres a tip 'simply stooge', its called math. be careful though- its not for the stupid.  :-*

lol idiot.

Title: Re: Calves - Been working on improving them a bit
Post by: no one on February 13, 2011, 07:26:53 PM
lol, read the chart, its the same as what I posted.

You can't even read a chart if you added up "124" grams of protein from what I wrote.

Meal 4:  3 eggs, 2 slices pepper jack cheese, 2 slices colby cheese

meal 1: 29 grams protein
meal 2: 1.5 chicken- half of whats on your 'chart' 35 grams protein
meal 3: 2 scoops chicken from qdoba 33 grams protein http://www.myfitnesspal.com/nutrition-facts-calories/qdoba-chicken-burrito-naked/6
meal 4: 29 grams protein

total protein: 126 grams

wow. you are stupid. i call a lot of people on here stupid, but in your case its actually true.

a serving of chicken breast is considered to be 3.5oz. thats 30 grams of protein numpty. 1.5 would be 45 grams you fucking retard.

no wonder you such a bone rack- you have no idea what you're doing- and speaking of not knowing what you're are doing- why would you eat 90 grams of protein in one sitting, and only 30 in all the others? i guess trying to make your numbers fit has made you look even more stupid than anticipated.

dont be sad little man. keep eating your cheese slices and taking pics of your calves. lol
Title: Re: Calves - Been working on improving them a bit
Post by: no one on February 14, 2011, 07:19:04 AM
I said I eat 1.5 CHICKEN BREASTS, not 1.5 servings you RETARD.  A fullsize chicken breast is not 3.5 oz.   Is this really that hard for you to grasp?  I thought you were a joke before, but now its just plain embarrassing.

fuck you are stupid.

lol

i should have known that anyone who'd call themselves 'simply huge' who weighs a 150 pounds wouldnt be all there upstairs.

your serving size for 1 chicken breast in your little 'chart' is 4 oz. your little chart says thats 24 grams of protein. .5 would add another 12 grams, leaving you 36 grams over 1.5 breasts not 84 you fucking dunce. its right there in your little chart, bozo

ahahahahah omg fuck you are stupid!

please keep talking out your ass. i can go on busting you up all day. its easy when the other person has no idea what they are talking about.
Title: Re: Calves - Been working on improving them a bit
Post by: no one on February 14, 2011, 07:31:10 AM
oh yes, and im still waiting to see why you'd even consider eating 84 grams of protein in only that one meal, as opposed to < 30 in the rest.

is this your secret to such a MASSIVE physique?

which is it, sparky? please explain all these wonderful measurements and numbers your coming up with. you're so lost you dont know which way is up. you= clueless. thanks for playing.
