Title: Predict Obama's 2012 October Surprise

We all know Presidents do this right before elections.  Nixon declared peace in vietnam in 68. 

Carter tried it with hostages in 1980.    Bush's DUI surfacing in 2000.  Then the "totally real" Osama Bin Laden endorsement of Kerry in 2004.

What do you predict Obama will pull in October 2012 to boost his chances at the last minute?  My guess will be a hugely sentimental surprise rally appearance by AZ Rep. Giffords, maybe her 1st public appearance.  That would be some breaking news and would give him an emotional bump.

What do you predict the october surprise will be?

yeah, but would that really change a single thing for most voters?  I doubt it.

At this point, kowing what we already do, he could be on tape banging Rev. Wright in the ass on the altar of Trinity Church while Father Flager tapes it and blasts organ music in the background he would still be at 46%.

So you're saying Americans care more about the issues, than what silliness a president does in his spare time?  Are they right or wrong for doing this?
