Title: So, i've gone 45 days without lifting and...
Post by: Firemuscle on January 19, 2011, 10:39:37 PM
...there isn't very much difference in my physique at all.

My muscles are less dense and seem soft, but they havn't lost any size or strength at all. I still look like a pussy wrecking machine of course.

I had my first workout in 45 days a few days ago, and I was stronger than ever. I was thinking that I would be weak after such a layoff, but I wasn't.

With epic genetics like mine, I should go pro.

Here's a picture of me posing at the gymnasium in Kinshasa.

Do my muscles look big and strong?

Sorry, I forgot to shave my pubes before the contest. But that's who we do it in the Congo.

Here are my wives. Or as the American black man would say "my bitchez."

My bitchez gather berries and hunt animals all day long to make sure I always get 400 grams of protein each day.

if you go 45 days without lifting and don't notice any difference, its just a statement of what you looked like/how hard you worked while you were lifting.....

exactly... If I take off even 3 weeks, if I was at my peak condition before the 3 week break, my strength has gone way down then, it's allways like that... for example, I allways battle to deadlift 170kg and 180kg for reps.... my best ever has been 170kg for 10 reps, then i allways get some sort of fever that lasts for a month and then BOOM! It's like I had never even tried to lift 160kg...

I hear ya.  And I'm not one of those guys who retains that "hard" look when I take too much time off.... no homo

i'll take about 2 weeks off, max, before I really NEED to get back in the gym.  I do that a few times a year.

I wish more folks could lighten up on themselves a bit-- and on others.

When I was younger if I did not train for a week or 2 I noticed a difference.

The older I have gotten I notice less of a difference.
