I am looking forward to this. Chad's knowledge and street cred is definelty taking this show to the next level.
-
I'm looking fwd to chad telling us something we've never heard
about the late 90s/early 2000s contest prep each week.
And is Wolf doing the FLEX Pro or what?
-
Brother in Law Returns. ;D A true GETBIG Legend.
Is Nichols retired from being a Guru??
???

Retired, but still has a pretty good memory, I'd guess.
Teh Chad reports to work... I wonder how many of his former "clients" are shitting a brick over what he might say about the good old days :)

PBW - No Bob Chick, but still on bb.com's commercials
I find it interesting that Bob Chick is no longer with PBW or Bodybuilding.com, but still on the commercials for them on PBW. Isn't it time to change the commercial?
As for Lee and Chad, lets get going - enough of the praise for each other.
-
agreed
get rid of the old geezer

It is a commercial, not the program. The commercial apparantly works. Question should be how did Lee, Chad and Dan work together as a team on the radio discussing the upcoming season.
-
It's clear that Chad's a much bigger Kai fan than Bob. And I liked how he called out Phil for being too narrow to win the Olympia without help from the competition.
-
Brutal honesty, wow. Good stuff.
-
very solid start to the year, the chemistry between the three was evident. If someone was listening for the first time, I don't think that it would have been picked up that the line up was new.
-
The Chad came out swinging in his first PBBW. Not understanding why a 31 year old would blowoff the Arnold 6 figure payday. Also mentioned that Ronnie did the Arnold in 2001 and doesnt get why Heath has already gone into Olympia-Only mode.
Chad made some good points.
-
I liked Chad but I do not get why Lee is there, I mean he is NPC state chairman, but beside that what did he do to be relevant and be host of the premiere BB. radio show? At least Chad was the number one BB. guru years ago and worked with same of the greatest bodybuilders ( Coleman,Flex,
Nasser and other greats) but Lee is just a NPC guy and nothing else. Anyway I enjoyed the season premiere radio show and I think PBW still the best BB. radio show out there! :)
-
Heath hasn't won a show since 2008 and that was the Ironman. Dude needs to compete more and stop doing this 1 show a year nonsense.
-
The way the fucked up judging is now Phil isn't going to beat the fridge.
He should be entering the Arnold and cashing as many big checks as he can while he's young and healthy.
-
i'd listen if there was a download link....
slow kunts
-
his chest is stucturally small, Its a shame he will always be number two tops, dont matter who is number one.

Just a guess, and I don't expect Phil to admit it on next week's show, but I think Phil made up his mind after last year's loss to Kai that he wasn't going to do the 2011 Arnold. Kind of like Jay's loss at the 2001 Mr. Olympia. He felt like he was robbed and wasn't going to do the show in 2002 no matter what.

if phil didnt win, he'd lose momentum ...
-
he actually thinks he is going to win the O. jay's brand is too strong at the moment. personally i think if he doesnt f##k up too bad the ifbb will let him tie yates with 6.
kai is a dumbass too, cant carry the weight to beat jay. he looks like shit in the 260-270 range for his height and 250-255 isnt going to beat jay.

If Kai was a shredded 260 and Jay came in soft, Kai would take it IMO. But that aint going to happen.
-
He should've won last year's AC

looks phenomenal

How about because he was screwed out of it last year?
Chad is a biased fuck to anyone he trains. He made Ronnie look good he also fucked him up onstage a few times.

I think Chad was "helping" Flex, Ronnie, Paul, Chris, and Nasser all at the same time, wasn't he? They call them, Chad's Lads

jay weighed 255 in his last win.
it aint about lbs, its about quality of lbs

Jay looks WAY bigger at 255 than Kai.
-
Personally, I'm way more interested in the pre-contest/historical dirt (from Chad) than judging standards (from Lee).
But competitors and those who follow placings super closely will probably enjoy hearing the justifications for placings on a weekly basis. More accountability is a good thing. I wish the NFL referees had to go on ESPN every monday and explain their calls on sunday ;)

phil looks like a michelin man

Really?
I didn't realise he was that light - I always thought Jay was competing in the 270-280 range.

on the road to ultimate disaster

Dan pulled it off. I missed Bob, but I was impressed how fast the newbies got with the program. A solid hour of radio, and a great start to a new season.

2001 he was 255 2009 - 10 he went back to 255, and it payed off
