Maybe eet's jest in your head, holmes.

I wonder what he was eating from McDonalds? Love the place. 2 x dbl cheeseburgers with Mac sauce. yup yup.

HONESTLY, I know what I see but I don't know how to convert to "word-ism"
Something SICK happened. Don't know what it's called, but I guess
It rhymes with "Mutation."
-
I think 'muscle maturity' might fall into the same category as 'density' when it comes to muscle: the word is used a lot, but no one can say what it is (without just equating it to some other more useful term, like thickness, or vascularity).
-
Denisty comes from very hard and very heavy training.

Agreed...and he went hard. Sick strength on a 40+ year old guy.
-
Ronnie is made from stone, Phil is made from marshmallow.
-
That right there is rock hard density from years of heavy ass weights, something 99% of todays bodybuilders don't have. Serious muscle density like Coleman's has a certain powerful herculean look to it and usually means the muscle is really f@cking strong too. Thats why Ronnie Coleman does 180lb preacher curls and Phil Heath maybe does 1/3 of that.
Muscle density= Real muscle.
-
I would say he gets granite implants in them
-
Heef looks like a ballon - also that fat face.
Ronnie was the man - The Unbelievable.
-
I read an article that said heavy lifting is more likely to induce muscle hyperplasia (i.e. increase the number of cells) than higher reps

By lifting heavy, the muscle cells themselves actually become thicker over time giving them that granite hard look. Lack of density immediately shows onstage.

Was that from the cat study Neo?

muscle hypertrophy (i.e. increased size) is not unique to heavy lifting

was it just muscle maturity? (old man muscle)
drugs?
genetics?
Ronnie has a tendency to not store bodyfat under his arms muscles, resulting in definition even when he's offseason or off, or between his arm muscles fibers, resulting in density.

The difference is one is full of muscle and the other is full of humalog.
Ill let u figure out which one is which.

I don't think there's any evidence that hyperplasia occurs after maturity has been reached. IGF-1(somatostatin C) seems to induce hyperplasia in rats and other rodents, but no evidence there is on Humans.

Im talking real etched to the bone muscle from years of natural training and legit foundation building with maximum tendon power and density.
And as for the biceps comparison? Yeah Phil Heaths got size, but he dont have Big Ron Colemans size!!

I think its safe to say that there is something hgh does that steroids do not. Gh and steroids produce a very distinct look.

How come ronnies arms were granite like?
