Post by: littleguns on January 29, 2011, 05:42:49 AM
Who will be the breakout star this year?

Cedric?
Ed Nunn
Pakulski
Roelly?
Other??

I'm saying
Namat in 202's, not cuz he's on here and a good guy but I think he is going to squeak out a 1st and a few 2nds

Heavies - I'm going Nunn

We can revisit this in December and see who was right

Not sure if he's picked one yet but I think he's going to continue to improve and do some damage. I was very impressed with the USA win.

He is doing the NY Pro. I think he will have a good rookie year as well.

Evan, yeah some folks may hate me when I mention his name, but I don't care about his relation issues.
Just like Phil he took a long time off, so I expect big things this year from him. Minus his chest he's got a great build.

Phil never took a long time off, he jumped right in after he got his Pro card. Phil has competed in at least 1 contest each yr...and there is no comparison of Evan to Phil...except that they have 2 arms and legs.

think Pakulski, Cedric, and Roelly will have a breakout yr.
Jason Huh will have conditioning issues, even though he is was with Atwood---that relationship would be iffy, given Atwood's status as being untrustworthy...you don't use someone who has a name in the industry as being untrustworthy---and being that in this shady bizness, means you got some serious things going on to be branded that.

Regarding Phil, of course 'Long' is relative but if you compete only 1-2 times a year, even before competing at the 'O, I see those long intervals between shows as a strategy to improve on things, so it's not a critique. Evan also takes his time, only without doing a show for years, but his goal is the same: taking his time to improve.

Scouting for up and comers in bodybuilding is probably as gay it gets.

That would probably be why he hired Hany right after the USA's.

 I agree.

Watching the IFBB is pretty gay an it's an embarassment for people to find out I actually watch that shit. But when you start keeping up on amatuer bodybuilders that's when you are in flaming queer muscle fetish land.
