If you listen closely you can hear his attorney state "first offense..."
Yet for those of us that remember Razzle from Hanoi Rocks many years ago, things are a little contradictory--

and if you fast forward the YT vid to around 1:18, you can laugh your ass off at the idiot..

first offense... wow... very sad for razzle

Nicholas Dingley, alias Razzle (2 December 1960 – 8 December 1984), was the drummer of Hanoi Rocks from 1982 until his death.
Vince Neil should not only have given up drinking.....he certainly was rich enough to have a "paid driver" when/if he did drink

I agree Mike. i never understood why somebody with that kinda cash, like he had when Razzle was killed, wouldn't hire a driver? Plus they were on a drug/beer run if my memory is correct.....I'm sure he couldn't have called a friend, or someone at their label at the time to take care of it. Just an irresponsible asshole in every respect..... and not learning from KILLING a friend is inexcusable imo.

8) This guy had money too, I guess it must be a challenge to see if they can operate a vehicle drunk?

In late 1984 Hanoi Rocks was on their first American tour. Frontman Michael Monroe fractured his ankle, so the band had to skip a few gigs and take a break. During that break Mötley Crüe's singer Vince Neil invited the band to visit his home, in California.
On December 8, Razzle visited Neil's home and spent the day in Redondo Beach. The two decided to take a trip to a local liquor store in Neil's De Tomaso Pantera. While speeding and driving drunk, Neil lost control of the car and hit an opposing vehicle. The two occupants of the other car were seriously injured but Razzle took the worst of it. He was taken to South Bay ER but was declared DOA 8 December at 19:12 local time. (It was already 9 December in Europe, which is considered his official time of death).[by whom?] He was buried at Holy Cross Church in Crediton in Devon in 1988. Vince dedicated Theater of Pain, Mötley Crüe's third studio album, to Razzle.
Neil's account of this event is documented in Mötley Crüe's 2001 autobiography The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band. Mötley Crüe would go on to title their box sets Music to Crash Your Car to: Vol. 1 and 2.

I think Nick's choice of impairment that night was roofies. ;)

Vegas Review Journal, Neil has agreed to the plea deal and will begin his sentence on February 15. He will plead guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol at Las Vegas Justice Court on January 26.
Neil said: "I have recognised that you can't drink and drive at all. I take full responsibility for my actions and will learn from this experience."
This will be the second time Neil has served jail time for drink-driving. The first was in 1984 when he was incarcerated for 30 days for vehicular manslaughter after losing control of a car and crashing into an oncoming vehicle.
Former Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas Dingley, who was in the passenger seat, was killed in the incident and the two occupants of the other car were seriously injured and suffered brain damage.

I remember when Max Muscle used to legally sell it... so did GNC. Funny how things change.
