Thought some of you might enjoy this
Im sure you ladies have radio shows like this where you live...
They have spouses who believe their significant other maybe cheating and tell their story of why they feel the way they do and who they believe their significant other maybe cheating with.
Then the radio personality calls the person and pretends to be a floral shop that does work with the business that the person happens to work at and tell them as thanks they give random employees 12 long stem red roses that can be sent to anybody within 24 hours....
and then the fun generally ensues
Its generally women calling in about their husbands and I feel conflicted b/c i think ppl should solve things on their own without playing these idiotic games but its like a train wreck i just cant turn it off.

yep, sounds like trainwreck or carcrash as entertainment and I find it disturbing (as in: who'd go on that show or on Jerry Springer for that matter?)
American Idol? Britain's Got Talent? More like Britain displays then exploits the mentally challenged.
I can't watch any of them, just read about them in the Entertainment section of the news.
I don't understand people wanting their 15 minutes of fame, you can have mine if you want them.
We've got newspapers who phonetapped being taken to court, politicians claiming expenses and thereby stealing from the taxpayer going to court, next Tony Blair will be taken to the Old Bailey for his War Crimes. Turns out he made a few mill brokering wars and oil...
I'm really not that bothered about broken marriages and adultery any more. Sounds alarmingly funny, but I'd feel sad if I laughed at it...

the vast majority are skepticle and the radio host has to convince them that they wont be charged etc...saying that they dont take any personal info other than the persons name and message for the card...

they never get that far, they always just placate them for a min and then say well why dont we just start with the name and a short message for the card
its always funny when the person they call knows who they are
