Its not going to do anything accept bankrupt the insurance companies and create a void for the government to step in with the public option. I don't why its so hard to see the, the government doesn't just take something over, it goes in small steps. Sometimes taking decades but the end game is government control
-
I thinbk that is what obama told kookcinich to change his mind.

If you read the report it will save 10% or so. Thats not good as far as premiums go. But the huge burden on taxpayers should go down as we wont carry the uninsured....they have theyre own policy.

No. If you read the link, the premiums stay about the same. So they can add 32 million customers and still turn hideously gross profits every quarter.

So the cost of medical treatment is never ever going to go up? And the 32 million people that are being added are completely healthy and are never going to need to see a doctor?

Maybe its just me but I can't comprehend that fact that people willing give up their rights and personal freedom. And its always due to an emotional response for the unknown number of faceless poor who will somehow benefit

Why would you say that? All things being equal if someone hands the ins company 5,800 for the year and has the odds of seeking medical on the same ratio as today. Right now they turn huge profits on That amount. Now of course there will be adjustments yearly. Actuaries have this figured out.
I know insurance better than you tony. I feel like im teaching a 5th grade class.... ::)
