Ok a while ago we heard about how they were going to mandate commercials be played at the same volume as the programming your watching on tv.  You're probably wondering why the commercials are still loud as fuck and you have to keep turning down the volume for them...

Such a silly issue but one everyone who has a TV agrees with.  Nobody likes having commercials come on at 3 times the volume.

I just read 4 different articles saying that the bill H.R. 1084: CALM Act is now law and you can relax, no more blaring commericials.

BUT WAIT...   Checking on the fact shows that it has not become law and did not even pass the senate.

So really, how can we ever expect these assclowns to do anything right for us when they CAN'T EVEN DO SOMETHING SILLY AND MUNDANE FOR US THAT WE ALL WANT!!!!!!!!  even on a lame issue like this?  Really?  They side with the corporations on something so lame as this?  come on man....  This government is done...

Hugo makes a very good point.

If they can't deal with the simple issues, they will never be able to handle the most difficult ones.

It is - I turn that on when I wake up and it goes to commercial, and I'm scrambling for th remote to mute that shit.

it's not just the morning shows, it's all day long with anything you watch on TV.  When they go to commercial they up the volume several times what you were listening to. It's bullshit, you have to sit there with the fucking remote in your hand ready to mute the shit because they play it full volume at you.

nobody likes that shit, nobody would be opposed to a law telling these cock suckers to stop... And congress can't even do something so simple as that...  wow...  now that's fucked.

Something so mundane and simple, something we could all agree on, they can't even pull that off ::)

better yet, they had to lie about it...  google it, there are several articles saying the bill is a done deal but when you really look it up, it never passed...  So who the fuck wrote all the shit saying it was as good as gold?
