yeah, at some point, we'll need to look at the tea party group and decide if they succeeded or just took office and played ball.

stopping all that foreign aid is a ballsy move.  So was stopping the patriot act.  they took heat (rightfully) for caving and raising the debt ceiling.  they had an easy chance to stop obama's spending there, and they didn't.

they probably heard from their supporters, and are now stepping up.
