Slapper nailed it on the head. The economy is in bad shape because businesses have been making more money over the span of the last 40 or so years. ::)
I see that the extravagantly intricate chart you posted makes allowances for inflation and other economic factors that have evolved over time as well. Why didn't you post a chart outlining how benefits and wages have increased over the same period of time for workers? I guess that would turn your already shit argument to diarrhea.
