Title: Getbig Malware and Virus?
Post by: Coach is Back! on February 21, 2011, 12:15:05 PM: Someone put a virus on here and the thread gets deleted?? Why? It should be on the most looked at board.

I was part of that posting. That is the only reason I posted up was because Google and AVG stated that Getbig was updated and informed.

I didn't post to be malicious Ron, but I couldnt get on from that computer anymore. There were numerous locations listed. I'm sure the info was helpful to you.

I read some history before I posted and there is also plenty of info stating that Getbig will not tolerate adware, spyware, info-stealing etc.

Post by: dyslexic on February 21, 2011, 04:48:45 PM: Try some of them out. Google combo compatibility or go to forums and read the discussions. It's kind of cool to see what does what and how well they work.

Most of the stuff on this site I've tried at one time or another, and it's all free. The only one I really haven't tried is Avira.

I like C.C. Cleaner, AVG 9.0, Spybot Search and Destroy, MSE, Malwarbytes and Commando.

I don't like Trend or Norton (and they aren't on this page anyway)

These are all carefully chosen by "those in the know..."

Oh, I do appreciate you or anyone else telling me about anything that is off. I had people emailing me, IMing me, and more. All good - gotta get stuff like that sorted out asap. Of course, usually, it occurs when I go off to a contest or go take some pics.
