The strength and condtitoning world had changed in HS sports. The advancements intrainingdrug use are incredible.

i squated 315 in HS but I was on shit - test/deca - and we had a SICK football program in Texas 5A HS in san antonio - churchill
I was only like 175lb but rocked all to hell and I couldnt bench 315 - I remember that clearly cause my goal was to rep it, one day, aaahhh good ole days :D

I heard these stories a lot, Xyz benched #315 the first time he tried, Abc pulled #405 first time out. Now if it's not bullshit, there's usually some back store behind it, like he did train before and was squatting #600's then just decided to pull that day, or he was a super infrequent deadlifter, etc......
