Gaspari Nutrition®, a globally distributed sport nutrition company, is proud to announce they have signed MMA fighter (http://www.ufc.com/fighter/Brian-Stann) “All-American” Brian Stann to Team Gaspari.
Brian is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy, a decorated war hero (http://ourmilitaryheroes.defense.gov/profiles/stannB.html) who served two tours of active duty as a Marine officer, and currently fights as a professional MMA fighter in the middle weight division. Before entering into his current organization, Brian was a light heavyweight champion in World Extreme Cage fighting. Beyond the battle field and the ring, Brian is an exemplary spokesperson and has also recently been signed with Gaspari Nutrition’s esteemed internet retailer Bodybuilding.com®.
"Brian not only represents real athletes, but also represents the men and women who have sacrificed more than most can imagine for our great country,” said CEO Rich Gaspari. “His story deeply impressed me and to have him as a member of Team Gaspari is truly a humbling experience.”
Brian, who just came off a first round victory over Chris Leben, has established himself as a recognizable figure in the mixed martial arts community, but also as Executive Director of Hire Heroes USA (HHUSA). Hire Heroes’ mission is to offer transition assistance, job search assistance, and job placement services to those who have honorably served in the US military Operations IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM – and to their spouses – in order to reduce veteran unemployment.
"We are a brand that will always have bodybuilding at its core, but our supporters come from around the world in over eighty countries,” said Senior Director of Strategic Management Daniel Pierce. “We are now embraced by millions of athletes from many diverse backgrounds and Brian Stann represents the first mixed martial artist to formally represent the Gaspari brand."
Look for Brian to appear on both Gaspari TV and Gaspari’s global advertising campaign representing a new breed of Team Gaspari athletes. Brian’s tough training regimen (http://www.gasparinutrition.com/teamgaspari/brian-stann/bio/) includes up to four workouts per day. Rest assured his diet and supplementation need to be finally tuned to sustain his elite level of performance. Gaspari Nutrition is known for hard-hitting and clinically validated products so this was a perfect match for the brand’s continued rise to excellence in the sport nutrition category while Brian ascends through the professional MMA ranks.

Smart move on Gaspari's part.
Brian is a solid fighter but even bigger is his connection to the military. He's a well respected, well-spoken guy.
For his next fight, he'll fight Jorge Santiago at UFC 130 on May 28th.

TK, thanks for posting this info regarding Brian (USMC). I appreciate good and worthwhile comments about those who served in the Corps and the other branches of the US military.
And I have an unlimited amount of respect for the US Army's 101st who took a major risk to pull me and my Marines out of a somewhat deadly situation in Nam.
Thanks again, 101st!
So I'm always thankful to read good stuff about military personnel.
While posting this I gotta comment about OnlyMe's high regard for all members of our Armed Forces.
Keith was totally dedicated to helping all US military causes whenever and wherever he could be of assistance and he loved to sit and listen to combat stories if and when anyone was willing to talk about those personal combat loaded experiences.
And he loved to play those PS2 combat games!
God bless ya, Keith!
And TK, thanks again!

I put your mom on a few supplements.

He was originally suppose to fight Wanderlia Silva, wand didn't want the fight though. He respects Stann a lot for his military career. I don't think Wand was dodging him I don't think Wand dodges anyone.
