In honor of African-American history month, the White House hosts a screening of the new film "Thurgood" - a one-act play starring Lawrence Fishbourne and written by George Stevens, JR. Go inside the screening to watch interviews and learn more about the impact of Justice Marshall's work towards equal rights in America.

Thurgood Marshalls' grave is in arlington cemetery in DC. I went there and have to say - that really is a special place. Very moving to think you are standing over the grave of such highly regarded people.

Tremendous performance by Fishburne. For 90+ minutes he truly embodied the spirit of the great man.
Highly recommended.

I would think that a tour de force such as "Madea Goes to Jail" takes preference over "Thurgood" for a certified genius such as Betty Blanco.

I was there a couple months ago. Awesome place. Saw his grave in the same section with Rhenquist, etc.
The Kennedy's take up a whole of space (for just three people).
The guards at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier were awesome.
I have a new appreciation for Robert E. Lee after walking through the Arlington House and the little museum.

Is that because there were black panhandlers and gang members shooting dice adjacent to the property? Racist post reported.
