?
I saw a video on how out of control it is and a political debate on whether to keep a program that monitors the amount of pills that doctors prescribe.

Let's just hope they don't get into that marijuana crap over there. At least pills are safe.

Nope. I'm done with that. I just never knew FL was the epicenter as the law officials called it, for prescription drug abuse. They said people travel across the country just to go to Florida for some shady doctor to give them oxys cash only no insurance and a pathetic excuse for a check-up.

Not surprised Florida is the hardest state to make big money as a doctor.

got a call from one of my boys that they busted down a bunch of "clinics" the past week or so.
one guy was pulling in 50 grand a day and were selling pills right at the clinic.
its pretty bad for the oxy heads

it's more about 'pain mgmt' here than helping people get healthy and fix what ails them.
Docs don't say "exercise, eat some veggies and tuna, and stop abusing drugs and alcohol!" Instead, they just throw painkillers at people as requested.
In SW Florida, it's gotten much better in the last 2 years actually. This poor area used to be legendary for it - it's improved a lot since then. People still abuse when they can, but it's dried up for many users and doctors are much more conservative. The local media makes a huge huge deal about busts, making it a deterrant.
