Always like the 67 myself.
Little different grill, different tails, etc.
I really liked them better than the 68-72's.
This is my old 68 SS, at one point it had a 496" Solid roller BB and ran 10.28's@128mph (the 1 time I took it to the track, before I got kicked out of the track for not having a cage. Lulz), but then I joined the military and put the car back to near stock and sold it.
This is right before I sold it, Ill see if I can find any pics when I was street racing (<---moron, yes I know, but there wasnt a track close to me and I didnt have any safety equipment in it to be legal.) it.
68 Chevelle Super Sport 396 Muncie 4 speed, 12 bolt with 4.10 gears.
You can see the sump in the fuel tank from when I had the big motor in it, with the electric pumps.

cool cars i bet they got the original 8 track tape players in them. first time i seen a 454 chevy supersport, in a gadda da vida was blasting out of the sound system those were the days.

i've always liked the 68 super bee, and the 66 GTO as well.
Mid sized Muscle car, just like the 67 Chevelle....and similar styling.
I like then as well. Granpa has a 65 Impala that had a 283 in it, and a full size Biscayne that looks exactly like the Impala in Supernatural.

My grandpa had one of those Impala's as well, 3 speed on the column, white the 283 was a good engine produced good power for the size.

I still go and check on the cars everytime I am there---they are on a wooded piece of property where people have used them for target practice.

As much as I have been there, that is all I really know---it is off 220, off the beaten tracks, very rural. Back roads...until recently they just put a line down the middle of the road.

Yep, look like a turbo set up (it doesn't show up that clear on the iPhone), and the Torque Thrust wheels give the car just the right look and set up.

i always liked the 66 one of my top 3 favorites......i built a few 67's....but if i saw a straight body, rust free 66 right now i would get it....already have everything picked out, and engine built...

There is a brown 67 rust free---from what I can tell 67 Chevelle near me. It's strip out and lacks a engine and looks like it was a drag racer at one point...which inspired this thread.

i just need the body, and frame....most of the frame will be modified anyways....i already have a engine sitting in the corner of my garage for it.....i always loved the box look of the 66...if i build another classic it will either be a 66 chevelle...or a 68, or 69 mustang fastback...

There is this gas station near me that tends to deal with Foreign---german cars, I went to the back lot which had several 89's Mercedes, and Audis, and there in the far back of the lot was the 67 Chevelle, rear was in good condition, doors, etc, no hood, and interior of the engine bay looked good as well...I might just go back there...

they are one of the single best hobby cars with huge upside financially if you get a good deal on a fixer upper and know what your doing...

there isnt a lot to afford.....the chevelle isnt a rare car...and its a early chevy...shit is damn near free if you arent going all out...

Word that are biblical to my dad...he had a 78 T-bird that he was too cheap to fix up, it has been towed and in it's place is my mom's 87 Lincoln Town car with a perfectly good 5.0 engine sitting in it...

there is this guy that has a turquiose 67-68 Cougar in his backyard...I pictured that painted all black, with some Torque Thrust's (18" on the front, 19" deep dish out back), Stoptech drilled brakes. I guess you figured that I scoop out cars...

70' was a good year too. I know its a clone but regular people won't know the difference.
Now this is what a muscle car should sound like.
