Flynn!? You must be joking.

Gable, apparently did a bit of hustling before he hit it big in Hollywood. No one seems to have held it against him.

Bit of a fail here since Flynn would fuck anything that moved, Male or Female, Grant "lived" with Randalph Scott for 12 years and Gable wasnt opposed to playing a few classics on the meat flute when the feeling took him.

And Grant' s wife had said, if he was gay, she'd have known, and Mae West had said Grant was easily suduceable...apparently Gable's breath smelled to bad for any one

national Geographic did a show on James Dean's car crash...it basically broke down to him being a reckless jerk...

The greater public didn't know Rock Hudson was gay during his prime years, dude. His shit was kept on the down-low, lest he would have never been able to play the roles he did.

Indeed. Jane Russell was a serious sex symbol back in the day. She MORE than held her own in those movies with Marilyn Monroe.

That's because Jane had more substance, whereas Marilyn was more fluff...beyond the exterior she was a woman-child, and it showed.

Only when she got the good roles...but, she was a notorious casting couch-whore...one too many producers liked playing with her tits...

Also, she kept a journal when she used to talk to the Kennedy brothers, she became increasing interested in politics...odd how her journals were absent after she died...

I think Brad Pitt is one of the last real "Movie Stars" we had. The guy has the presence and charisma of days gone by and can carry a big, epic movie.

Clooney I think is up there too....but he tries to hard to convey that " ring a ding ding" swagger of the rat pack. I still remember him from all those shitty sitcoms he was in back in the early 80s when he was always playing the affable guy next door.

You are an odd duck P......the only black dude I know who is fascinated by black porn stars with big cocks.....that's normally white guy territory  ;D

Yeah, she is great, and yes, has that old school vibe to her, few women today have that about them. Mad Men is great show as well.
One underrated actress is is Renee Zellweger (sp), saw her in Case 39, she was great in that movie.

If you throw in Bronson, I'd throw in Coburn.

and Robert Duvall-

I think if you were to go manliest casts, I'd go with most of what Peckinpah directed. Many may not of been maquee names, but most were fine and gritty actors.

You are an odd duck P......the only black dude I know who is fascinated by black porn stars with big cocks.....that's normally white guy territory  ;D
Hmmm... :-\ Personally, I think you are overstating Pitt's abilities as an actor a tad. He's certainly very good at times, but "one of the last real movies stars???" LOL Give me a break.

Really, Brad Pitt is nothing but a reincarnation of Robert Redford for a younger generation. The guy looks like he could be Robert's son. I think Redford is the superior actor, but that type of thing is subjective and can never be quantified.
